Seeing as there is a bit of confusion around how to do this, I'm going to make an epic games specific video soon that will showcase how it's done.

Hmm. This could be a variety of issues and is difficult to decipher. Make certain you're launching the game application in the new folder you created for your mod. I have heard certain antivirus software can cause issues with your installation, so be certain that your antivirus isn't causing a corrupted install. Otherwise, you can post in the other roles discord (link in the bio) and get help directly from the mod maker
Unfortunately, I cannot help you directly with that one. I used to play games with routine groups of friends, which I think leads to the most fun. That being said, you can find groups that are inclusive on Twitch by searching by tags in the Among Us category. I used to run weekly games on stream where we would do just that. I'm sure there are other people who stream it and do this sort of thing too.
Hey @runesluijs9422, I highly recommend mobilizing a group of your friends to get on this one, Among Us is 100% enjoyed the most with friends. That being said, if you can't get your troops behind it, another place you can search for a group is twitch. I used to run streams where I would let anyone come join our games. Head over to the among category and look through people using the tag "playing with viewers" or "looking for group". I hope that helps :)
hey! thank you for the tutorial, i’ve done each step correctly from the first to the second video yet unfortunately my game just automatically crashes each time i try to launch it through the folder… i’d love some help if by any chance you know why it’s like that!
I have one other idea, there is software that runs among us that your PC might not have updated properly. Essential if this dependant software isn't up to date, then it can cause issues in among us. You can get the latest version of vc_redist from this link: aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
Unfortunately there isn't a way to downgrade Among Us through the Microsoft Store :( If you can figure out a way to get an old version of the game you could apply the mod to those old files, otherwise you will need to wait until the mod developers update their mod to the latest version of Among Us.

Sadly I have an issue where when I launch Among Us through the TheOtherRoles folder, it loads like usual until I get a black screen, with only the little MOD logo in the top right corner.. I tried lauching the game again, and it loaded faster but I still had a black screen.. I tried instead launching the normal version of Among Us through Steam, but that didn't work either.. still a black screen. I followed all the steps that you perfectly explained, and your tutorial is litteraly 2 hours old sooo I don't really understand where my issue is coming from 😂

I believe the other roles have custom servers you can use. Although, that's a very strange issue, it should still work on the normal Among Us servers. That's what I play on.

The process to install the mod is the same for epic games as it is for steam. The difference comes with the process of downgrading your game to the correct version of Among Us. There is a guide in the other roles discord that explains how to downgrade your epic games version of among us. Link is in the description. it worked but I can't find any game it's like nobody plays. Can you help with that or do I need friends to play this?

you can play with your friends as you normally would. All players need to have the mod installed for everything to work properly
