Yeah, you sometimes find only English-speaking people like in the UK or Australia and they might not've even heard of that thick Boston accent that "omits" the R's. Hell, even in Texas, the people might not even have heard what a Bostonian accent sounds like. To simplify it for others: a thick Boston accent "drops" the R sound in basically every word with an 'R' sound. "Yard" becomes "Yahd" ... as heard in this comedian's great video.
