I’m sure you have already found this out but maybe not….So the reason the first lights didn’t have the white you were looking for is because they were RBG lights. Red-Green-Blue. It mixes the primary colors to achieve the secondary colors. In the color spectrum they way to achieve white is to mix all 3 together. Since the lights are flood style there will be bleeding of the other colors. RBGW is of course Red-Green-Blue-White. With a white stand alone Diode that is the only diode emitting light when you want white as opposed to all the colors.
Yea, based off the pics on Amazon, it looked to be decent. At first they were ok but then all of the colors weren’t syncing at the same time. But you’re right, RGB+W is the way to go.
Just order mine yesterday for the same reason i want it pure white not pinkish good thing someone told me this before installing this cheap rocklight from nilight i mean they cool but MICTUNING rocklight is the way to go 😎✌️
@@cdawg3801 I havent installed it yet I just ordered it. But everything is plug and play, the switch looks like something i installed previously in my 4runner. I just drilled out a hole on one of those tabs on the left side of the steering wheel, and then used a dremel to remove any extra material so the switch would just click in there. If thts what ur asking about, its really straight forward. On these lights tho, I'm gnna let my ONE STOP SHOP install them. Feeling a little lazy, dont feel like spending 5 or 6 hours doing this.
@@cdawg3801 The tabs I'm talking about are the ones below your ac vent they, look like blanks specifically there from the factory to install aftermarket switches on.
Same problem with me on the same app im running my wheel lights and the power button is very slow to respond after many clicks finally goes on and off you think it could be the app? As far as rock lights i learned my lesson never to buy cheap item from amazon after 3 days they dimmed out barely can tell if they are on.i just ordered mictuning c1 cant wait to put them on
Dumb as hell on those rgbs they do that... You can switch some lights to every color and it rembers that you gotta clear the memories and it'll go back to just one color.
Depends, if u run the positive wire to a IGN fuse then yes. If u run straight to the positive on battery then no. Just have to remember to turn them off within a few hours. Mine are straight to the battery. Only killed battery once in like 6-8 hours.
I have sunpie rock lights and when I first hook them up they connected to my Bluetooth and worked but once I mounted them and tried it again they didn’t connect and my controller doesn’t work, what do I do?
iamdjlee 1 like $139. It wasn’t too bad bc I was able to use the same holes I drilled. The worst parts was taking out the inner fenders and using a million zip ties 😅

I got rock lights at orileys they r even worse spent 75 bucks on 4 pods that stopped working after 2 months

Dray Dozier I have a in-line fuse on it and ran it straight to battery terminal so I can turn them on when the truck is off.
