Mike Lowery had all the pictures of himself because his parents were killed and he grew up as an orphan. Marcus and his family was his extended family... In "95 there were mobile phones, but nowhere like today's cell phones. Also the car was a Shelby Cobra.
Bad boys franchise is so good because they have the best banter ever. It's realistic AF between old best friends. Also bad boys 2 is my favorite action comedy of all time, I can't wait until you guys see that one lol
Will Smith's mother or grandmother I think found a notebook of his raps that had profanity in it and she convinced him that he didn't need to use profanity to express himself so that's when he made a conscious decision to not use profanity in his music
This movie was kinda epic in the making. martin and will had been famous for a long time and we had been waiting for them to work together forever and when it finally happened it delivered. all 3 of them are fun af : D
Eh I'm seriously not looking forward to a 4th one. Don't get me wrong if they would've made 3 and 4 directly after 2 I'd be excited as hell. But they waited hella long to make the 3rd one, and imo opinion 2 is still by far the best one. The 4th one won't have anything near the action of the 2nd one at this point. Just nostalgia bait
@@condorgaming4000 The third movie did better than the first two because they took their time writing out a great story. Both Will and Martin said they did not want to pick back up the characters unless it were to elevate the franchisee. It took 10 years for Incredibles two to come out, it took 10 years for the second avatar movie to come out, and it also took 10 years for the second Puss in boots movie to come out. I think long as you have a strong story and actors that can pull off what needs to be done the movie will do great.
5:20 - Oh I remember COPS, the song was so catchy I couldn't wait to watch it every Saturday morning along with Garfield & Friends, X-Men, Ghostbuster, and Robocop. 33:30 - The dude's name is "Bruh Man From the Fifth Flo" 54:45 - That car is an AC Cobra, created by the legendary race car driver, Caroll Shelby.
I like when "Martin was getting the food off the floor of the car,and saw "Will checking out the woman. He was like you ain't stud'n me you all up in that 😄. Watching you two laughing and having fun was great and I was laughing just as much. This was an absolute blast. Thank you two so much.
C.O.P.S. - Central Organization of Police Specialists- 😂 used to love that cartoon. Don’t know too many people who watched it, good job 👍🏾 on the reference. Bad Boys has been a good fun franchise and I hope the new one does well too
If you watch the shy guy music video, the fight one will start with will Smith and Martin Lawrence at the start. I think she made it for this movie. The phone tracking I'm not sure about, I know they could do wire tapping though based off the series The Wire which is a great show. So it's a possibility. The bad guys car at the end is a Shelby Cobra GT. It's Ford/Mustang. I love the wife's reactions to certain things by the way. She gets panicky over nervous scenes or dirty toilets 😅
Bad Boys 1 and 2 also "Independence Day were big movies. Plus "Martin was in another favorite movie of mine, called "Boomerang starring "Eddie Murphy my favorite comedian. Also excellent action star of the "Beverly Hills Cop movies. I absolutely love those.
YES! I love this trilogy. While I think "Rush Hour" is a better overall movie, I feel like the "Bad Boys" Trilogy as a whole is way stronger than the "Rush Hour" trilogy. The "Rush Hour"'s kinda got worse as they went along, while "Bad Boys" kept up the quality in terms of action & comedy. As a headliner, this flick was Will Smith's first one. Both he and Martin Lawrence were killing it on TV with their respective sitcoms, so to see them in an ACTION movie at the time was pretty wild. As for the swearing, yes this shit (lol) is Rated R. Given Martin Lawrence's stand-up, it wasn't really shocking to hear.... but Will Smith, coming from pretty family-friendly fare like "Fresh Prince", it was a little surprising to hear. This movie launched both director Michael Bay, and Will Smith's movie careers.
@@luutsii Nah. 1 is perfect. 2 has better action, but the story and comedy was pretty meh. First one’s jokes and one-liners just felt more fresh and fast-paced. Second one, there were maybe only a handful of jokes that really hit the gut.
54:54 The car is an AC cobra still available as a kit car a sports car so light and powerful quite a few inexperienced drivers have died because at full acceleration the front wheels are barely in contact with the road making it impossible to steer.

Fun Fact :the script was written for Eddie Murphy and Westley Snipes but due to timing issues they both couldn’t so Eddie told Martin to do it and Martin got will smith hired
Loved this reaction as well as all your movie reactions! Martin is all time legend of a comedian and Will is one of my idols. Bad Boys is one of my fav movies one because of the movie itself but also that 90’s action nostalgia set in Miami just hits different. Also saw that you wanted to check out the Martin tv show. It’s currently streaming on HBO Max as of now. Would love to see your reactions on them because it is pure not stop laugher and goofiness lol
"Martin" streams on Prime Video and HBOMax in the U.S. Your results may differ. 🇨🇦 By the way, the guy who usually entered Martin's apartment via the fire escape was the character "Bruh Man."
if you are interested in '95 wiretap technology state, i'd strongly recommend Enemy of the State (also Will Smith).. it's from a little bit later (1998), but explains some "fundamental" facts
I watched this a million times as a kid off a VHS on a black and white telly I got in a charity shop for £7.50 back in the day. Feels weird seeing it in colour tbh
Originally written for Dana Carvey and John Livitz, but they turned it down. A few changes was made to the script and it was offered to Martin Lawrence who immediately recruited Will Smith. Columbia bought the script and the rest was history.
I smell a dead body before two. He was trying to break into somebody’s house and got stuck in the chimney and it was on a hot day. His stomach exploded, and when they were taking the chimney down a little bit to get him out of there, of course, without tears standing there watching her you can smell it smells very bad
32:40 Would that be the 1st time in 1993 with the Chicago Bulls, the 2nd time in 1998 with the Bulls, or the third time in 2003 with the Washington Wizards? 😆
I'll be that one nerd you were talking about.... technically the first movie to use CG was in 1973, Westworld. As for explosions, while I don't know what the first movie was. Actually it's a Shelby Cobra, no GT. It was built on the British AC body. You're thinking of the Shelby Cobra Mustang, either the GT350 or GT500, that was built on the Ford Mustang body.

Fresh Prince aired in 1990 so yeah Will Smith had already been on that show for about a good 5 years before getting his breakout role in Bad Boyz

Jane has no idea how big of a smile she put on my face by the way she sang the "Martin" theme song in the beginning of the video LoL. Great reaction!
