hey, correct me if i am wrong , i don;t think so there is any use of lambda function as the condition you mentioned inside it is the default way in which pairs of vectors are sorted (a.first>b.first). So,simply if we jost sort them in descending order, that will suffice

A normal sort function for descending order will definitely work.
