I have a problem. Ghost does not show me "site view" nor "portal view" even tho I set the url correctly. How should I solve this? :)

What do you see? Do you get anything to come up? Have you checked logging to see if anything is showing in the logs?

Nice video. Do you have to keep your local computer turned ALWAYS ON in order for the ghost blog website to be available online 24x7 ? Also is it possible to share the container with other developers to make changes or create posts with the ghost blog?

If you are running the container on your local machine, then yes, it will have to stay on 24x7. If you run it on a server / VPS, then that machine is the one that has to stay on. If you share the URL, and create users on the Web GUI, then you can allow others to create articles on the blog as well.

Hey man love your video! Greeting from India 🇮🇳
I want to ask a question- ghost says they are open-source but all what I see paid stuff on ghost.io . I use Wordpress and Struggle too much with using it even weekly, that’s why my website is lying dormant. I own a 1 year license to both a single website hosting & my domain. How do I implement the Ghost myself, I don’t have money to for another service like ghost. How do I implement the Open-Source myself?

This very video is about how to run Ghost in a self-hosted fashion. To pay for Ghost you'd be using thier hosted or managed services, but you don't have to do that.

I’m happy to look in my settings if you can tell me what the option is specifically. There is an option to make it a Private system.

You keep using the "Gateway" IP address to route your nginx traffic to. I straight-up don't understand how that works. It certainly doesn't work on my setup. I have to use the IP address of the host. Could you go over how to set this up in a video?

I cover it here th-cam.com/video/cjJVmAI1Do4/w-d-xo.html, and here th-cam.com/video/UfCkwlPIozw/w-d-xo.html
But if those don't help, let me know what else you'd like to understand and I'll see if I can put something together for you.

Is it possible to installed on a shared hosting like wordpress ? I don't like the idea to need a virtual private or dedicated server

Everything I've read says you cannot as Ghost used NodeJS for at least part of it's server activity, which most cloud shared hosting providers done' thave available.
You can however, try Oracles Cloud on their free tier. Its been reported to me by several viewers as a great system, and truly free.

From what I see on the Ghost website, Ghost is anything but free.🤐

I think you're confusing their hosted offering with the open source, self hosted option. Yes, their site does have a monthly fee if they host your blog for you, but if you want to self host, you can absolutely get the software and self-host it as free (libre) software.
