    Gold ranged from 11 to 45, on lots of samples for me, when I had one. It found lots of bracelet chains and necklaces for me, gold and silver ones.

    I enjoyed the video and noticed you were either in gold mode or you were using pitch tone. It would really help if you could go over how you have your detector set up before air testing the items. Please this is NOT being critical, It would just help us in looking for those same numbers on our detectors. Thanks

    How deep will it detect your gold nugget when in gold mode?

  • @rogerclaiborne6815
    @rogerclaiborne6815 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Beach Dry is a lot more sensitive to small gold than Beach Wet. And you can use BD in wet sand if you raise Ground Stability and lower Audio Gain to minimum.

    What i dont understand is the beaches are so over detected how come people still scan them. Is there a point where detectorist dont go to same location anymore ?

    How would wet or dry sand at the beach effect using the gold mode? I’ve never tried it. Might be able to find some small gold on beaches in the off season when there aren’t many targets?

    • @marcshea8921

      Wet sand is a no go on beach in gold mode, because of the minerals in the saltwater. Dray sand all day and f you have the patience for all the noise gold mode makes.

  • @TSiriusz
    @TSiriusz ปีที่แล้ว +2

    From what I've read from some users, chains are tough to detect because it isn't one piece, but rather many pieces (often small) linked up so it's harder to pick up on that with detectors. It also depends on whether or not it's spread out or balled up. Balled up chains tend to be easier to pick up as it's closer to being one piece than when it's spread out and the detector is trying to pick up on each individual chain?

      @@marcshea8921 I purchased chocolate for the thin foil wrappers. Poor excuse to buy chocolate 😀 I cut circular pieces out to achieve different TID values. I use them for testing, to set audio and detector parameters, etc.
      I'm going to build an ocean seawater test bed from a storage tote. 3.5% salinity is the average ocean salinity. Before I hit a beach I want to have some idea of what to expect.

    The way it reacts to chains is the only reason I'm hesitating on buying one of these. My AT Pro would have hammered on that bracelet and would have done better on the fine chain. Maybe buried it would do better. Great video Gig it did real good on the other targets.
