"Centered around a friendly North-South rivalry..." O_O My God, that is a tone-deaf description of a war that left 600,000 people dead as if it were a lighthearted ball game.
A north south rivalry? It was a brutal war, where the south fought for slavery while the union fought for the preservation of the union and the abolishment of slavery.

You people complaining about the war are why the show got changed so much and why they changed the name, and why it’s nothing like any of us remember it from when we were younger. Listen, that’s not how they intended it, that’s not what it means, it’s a freaking dinner show. Yes the war was a big deal, yes there are subtle references to it, but it’s not what their intention was. STOP GETTING OFFENDED BY LITTLE THINGS. Thank you :)
@ZackM I've seen both. I may be biased cuz i'm from the South but I enjoyed Dixie Stampede more & the food was better. It's the same idea, but clearly none of the games are the same as MT.
The dixie stampede has 3 locations throughout the usa but the one in pigeon forge is better than the other two in my opinion. They are, myrtle Beach, south Carolina, and Branson, Missouri.
Food wasn’t the greatest, and it smelt like animal crap in the whole building, go ahead and call me a city girl but it was okay. They revamped it saying it’s red team vs blue team now. And it’s gone down hill. And all I got was a shitty mug at the end of it.
Is it just me...? I saw this last night, the food was awful, like hospital food along with feeling like I was basically having dinner in a barn.. then, soon as I saw a girl whipping her horse to make it jump through fire, I was done. I dont enjoy watching animals be hurt to make them do tricks for human entertainment. So, I cant support this. This why I dont go to the circus. I do not support this. That was my first & last time. No thanks, Dolly.
@@irreccon happy for you that you enjoyed it. I personally did not. And I'm pretty sure I saw a horse being whipped. Not hard maybe, but enough to be encouraged to jump through the ring of fire. It was enough for me.
