Try holding the needle drivers without putting your fingers in the holes, learned from a few surgeons it helps with range of motion and mobility when using the drivers. Great video!
Would you recommend going to RNFA school first? I'm currently work in the operating room as an OR Nurse that's train to scrub and circulate cases. I was thinking of going to RNFA school first and then NP school for my ACNP. Do you think I should reverse the order?
I have a question, is the RNFA part of your NP program or are you getting it separately? Also how long is the RNFA program? I've been trying to find answers on Google but can't seem to find any. Thank you 😊
Empty hospital gives you creepy vibes? Lol try working night shift, i learned to enjoy it, especially now when im on first shift and its so crowded everywhere.
Keep the content coming.
Thank you so much!

Interested in this as well!
A tip for those learning to suture, practice in gloves. It will help a lot when you get to close for real.
Yes! Totally agree with this! and practice with both left and right hand!
Wow. Just wow
Do they look to make sure you have a steady hand? I always wondered about that.

Nope, the RNFA is separate from my NP program. RNFA program at my school was 1 year long: fall didactic course and spring clinical course.

So if I’m a regular rn but I have my rfna certification in Florida, can I do sutures? Or do I have to be a PA or NP?
How or where do you look to get into this?
Does weight training interfere with your suturing?
How long was you a nurse before becoming a DNP student
2 years of working as a nurse :)
So are you an RN doing surgery while studying to be a dnp
