What size tube can I splice this with ? Mine is broke at the pick up where the tube connects to the pick up. I was thinking about cutting it about a foot up and fitting a bigger hose tube over each end of cut. Thanks for your videos😊
@@MarksBoatServices I agree but its not that accurate anyway. I was wondering what size to get that would fit on the cut ends. I only need about an inch length of new hose. Or can you just buy the complete hose? It goes on a 17 foot cheetah. The off brand cheetah
...I didn't know it was supposed to point down! Problem solved. Thanks!
A nice succinct video!

Ideally it should be one piece, a splice will disturb the flow and give a faulty reading

Thanks for the video it's very informative.
Thank you
Hi Mark, how would you change replace the tube line that goes to the speedometer?
If the hose moves freely, splice the new hose to the old hose and ease it through. It might be clamped to the boat somewhere, make sure it's free.
Hello, my boat's speedometer does not work, I am holding air in the hose, there is movement, why does it not work
Where can you get a blowgun if you don't have an air compressor? Will canned air work?
Try a bicycle tire pump with a basketball needle, a little tape around the needle, stick it in the hose, and zip tie the hose to it.
