This hotel is worth every penny especially if you are on a time crunch vacation. You save so much time being right there at the park. I'm glad you mentioned taking advantage of the amenities before your room is ready. Huge plus! We got a card after check out for the pool too. They said you could literally checkout at 11am and stay until the pool closes. lol. We got a pool view room but it wasn't necessary. Any room is probably good.The step stool was ABSOLUTELY utilized and appreciated by Ruby. We didn't know about that viewing deck. I'm so bummed we didn't watch that part first before our trip. 5 VIBES ALL DAYYYYY.

I'm so happy for you guys!!! The Grand CA is the BEST. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon when we got married, and fell in love with the hotel. We would also spend a lot of weekends at the Hearthstone Lounge because we loved how quiet that bar was. You are 100% right on Napa Rose - the dining experience is fun, but there are better places to eat at the resort. Glad to see you guys living it up the way you should! :D Thanks for sharing with us!

Love this hotel. When we lived in CA we had premium passes and we would go and stay here for birthdays. I would tell everyone stay on the concierge floor BEST experience ever. It has games food drinks it was the best. So glad you guys had a great time 💕

I’d have to agree with you guys, the Grand seems to be the best hotel on Disney property. Your even closer to Disneyland and DCA then the actual Disneyland hotel itself. Great video!!

I know this video premiered five-ever ago, but I wanted to wait until I could give it my full attention because we have ALWAYS wanted to stay at the Grand Cali! What a magical stay y'all had. The pool at GCH is one of, if not my all-time favorite pool on Disney property across the domestic parks and resorts, and we love the orange grove theme that carries on through all of the resort rooms. Plus, who doesn't love Chip and Dale? 😁 We've done Napa Rose for the Princess Breakfast Adventures character experience - which was AH 👏MAZE 👏ING - but we've never visited for dinner, so I guess we'll have to give that a try on a future visit and see how many vibes we would give it! Also, until this video, I'm not sure we even knew that the Paradise Viewing Terrace existed - so that is an incredible perk for GCH guests, for sure. This is such a beautiful resort, and we only want to stay here that much more having seen the vlog of your experience. Happy belated anniversary, you two!

Went to the Grand back in November of 2019. It’s all fun and game until you see how much you’ve spent 😭. Is it worth it, of course. It’s good for maybe one of those ones in a lifetime stuff you have to try out, or if you have endless amount of do$$h to throw away lol
We definitely wouldn’t stay if we were doing full park days!! The fact that we stayed in the room or at the pool was worth it for us but feel you 1000% definitely not an all the time thing but a random splurge for sure 😂

It was pretty far BUT it was so nice not dealing w a crowd and being able to bring our drinks and have a private bathroom.

Can you use magic bands at Disneyland?
Yes! You just have to link it to your Disneyland account! And they sell magic bands at Disneyland resort and downtown disney too
Great video! Makes me want to book a trip. Compared to Carthay what did you think of Napa rose bar? Overpriced but vibe wise? Did you have to sign up for a wait list?
The vibe at Carthay is better in our opinion. But I think we need to go back to Napa Rose and ONLY do drinks and no food next time. But Carthay honestly Always has our hearts. We lined up outside starting at 5pm and walked right to the bar

wdw cast member here who hasnt been to dlr since covid can you tell me when fireworks is at the parks?? it wasnt running on weekdays last we went and were going for our honeymoon on dlrs birthday and would love some disneyland fireworks!!

Great video guys! I don't know if I would have spent $62 on a very small portion of steak, that seems outrageous to me! I know, for the experience. Question, does staying at the California Grand bypass the reservation system and purchasing tickets, or do you have to make reservations and purchase tickets according to when you'll be staying on property? I'm sure some out of towners would want that information! That view for World of Color can't be beat! Glad you had fun and thank you for the info! As always, great editing and pacing by Nick!
