Can I just mention the cinematography in the end part? Where Dabi is the shadow convincing Hawks to join him. Hawks starts in the light and Dani in the shadows but slowly Hawks gets closer to the shadows and fully gets covered in it as he agrees and takes Dabi's hand. It beautiful and shows how Dabi is dragging him to the dark side. Just great work!

Let's face the facts: Dabihawks is never going to be a canon ship, with how their relationship has gone from mutual distaste to attempted murder (on both sides).
HOWEVER
This does not mean that this ship would not be the PERFECT enemies-to-lovers ship in a fanon AU. It's a great dynamic, and there's so much potential for angst, it's honestly not surprising that a lot of people have started clinging to it (I mean that in the best, healthy way). This ship is very much valid, so long as it doesn't abide by all the rules of canon.

I love the parallels going on with Hawks and Dabi, assuming the Endeavor theory is correct. Hawks looks up to Endeavor and sees him as a mentor figure. Endeavor inspires him to be a hero. Dabi suffers because of Endeavor and his incapability to be a father figure. He is the reason he became a villain. Now the two of them are working so close together, something is going to boil over and I can’t wait!

They were a good touch like how some of Dabi’s scenes you can tell just how much of a psycho he is by the expressions then at the end Hawks internal struggle. Thought you did those really well!
