Because that how they have given their inlaws power to walk in their matrimonial home and treat people any kind of way. They think of the wife as property and not a human being. Everything is regardless of how someone treats your respect, not knowing that respect is earned. They talk about God but don't love the Bible. He that finds a wife finds a good thing. HE IS TO LEAVE HIS MOTHER AND FATHER HOUSE AND CLEVE TO HIS WIFE .
Yes! Nigerians rarely make a mother in law love their daughter in law😭🤧In fact I seen so much bitterness in so called mothers; make me wonder if they're really gave birth on their own😭🤧The same goes for step mothers😭🤧
I had also responded to such a story on another post. If it were my mother-in-law, she would certainly have lost her hand, mouth and foot, and then your son can come with you too. You don't come to decide what can happen in my house and come looking for grandchildren. it is God who decides. and an idiot of a man who comes and says she is my mother, your mother-in-law, she can do whatever she wants with you. because you paid a lot for your wedding. Well, this man can go with his mother right away with a broken head, I will immediately put some sense into you if you don't have one. I also watch Nigerian and Ghanaian films where parents decide for their children and in the end things go wrong. respect must come from both sides. and you don't humiliate women like that in front of your in-laws.
