I start every day with this music, it's so lively and a beautiful tune, I sing it all day long and the rythm follows me through the day! And as usual they have so much pleasure playing together, it can only get you into a good mood.😄🥰

I've been ''trying'' to learn how to play the nyckelharpa for at least six months now but I'm not even close, compared to the gentlemen shown in this clip.
Hats off and hands down to these brilliant folk musicians.

Not surprising as these are 2 of the best, and for 40 years!

@@swedisheinherjer yes it is all a bit difficult and there are days "with" and days "without " I find. I find mornings are best and helps to do a few scales and exercises to start with, as recommends Emilie Waldken in her lessons "Scandi Folk Tunes # " .Very useful and gets me more confident and concentrating on the bow and keys, but all takes time! How long have you been learning? Me 5 months, in France.

I am very curious I'm afraid, what does heinerjer mean in English? Well today I surprised myself, I had never thought of trying the Polska fran Smaland, or efter Jusingius, which is very straight forward in the end, I start it on the higher E, it's site amusing to tr. And then came across the Senpolska efter Goran Lang, or Marcus Svensson, Fran Havero, which I

Am adding to my beginner's list, both of the tunes are quite "catchy" and easily played slowly without losing their charm. I've been told that the biggest fault with beginners is that they play too quickly, I think that's because we like the rythm. So try playing a lot slower, and a little everyday if possible. Sometimes I think nothing will go right and don't feel like trying, but in the end things usually go OK. Playing slowly I find you can concentrate more on the bow and memorise better the keys. Try it for a couple of weeks without expecting yourself to do miracles. As a well known potter would say, "Especially Keep Practising!" As throwing pots doesn't come on its own either! We need a lot of patience!🎶😃😅😇🌞🌟🥵🥰

Oh "hemlandstoner" är från Uppland (Tierp), men hittade min man i ett annat landskap. När jag hör den här musiken längtar jag.
