@@deckthreett I was thinking same thing. She really needs to pull that bar into the back and keep everything tight. By not having your back muscles engaged she can hurt herself.
@@phatzonki yes I highbar and lowbar, actually with both you're supposed to pull the bar into your back like a lat pulldown machine. Pulling the bar into your back engages your lats and you're upper back muscles making it safer for you back.

Hi Garrett , how are you? :) I think they take care of themselves and they have strict protocols; mostly they trust on them and they know how important is to be serious on that ; they have to maintain the level . This is what we do in my Box , we are 4-6 ones in all the area .
When back squatting, is it a concern if the bar is kind of tilted and not straight on your traps? For example at 4:09 I see the bar tilted slightly to the left. If it is a slight concern or smthn, what steps would you take to fix it? As always love the vids happy new year!

She picked up the barbell in the wrong place, that’s all. If you look at the markings on the bar you can see what I mean. At 4:44 it is positioned correctly and therefore is less skewed. That being said, I think Tia injured her back a while ago, and has some imbalances because of that. She works through it.

Highly unlikely Fraser is going to Sth Korea . Toomey is training for Aus bob-sled team. Fraser is sulking about not being able to get in Rich's gym because it was booked out when he wanted to use it. He is running a business after all and his members rightly come first.
Wrists are not locked with the thumb over the bar, bar isn’t tight against the lower traps, if you you can Even call that a low bar position, no hip drive, elbows not aligned with torso angle. She can do better.
Please go see coach Mark Rippitoe and fix those lifts. Shane is a CrossFit coach, not a powerlifting coach, and lacks the skills and abilities to teach those lifts correctly.
The way Tia looks at Shane with so much love and respect is everything!!
I do legs twice a week and have no interest in finding my 1 rep max. Greater chance of injury. God bless you Tia, from Australia. 🇦🇺

There are so many things wrong with her squat technique, its almost like watching some of my novice lifters, yet she is regarded as a professional.

Don't understand how elite athletes like Tia and Brooke haven't fixed that extreme knee caving in their squats
She addressed it in a previous post. She did fix it which ended in knee pain for her. So she switched back to her "natural" movement pattern
