It's funny how RV makers have raised their prices at the same rates as automobiles, but have no expensive electronics, CAFE, safety or emissions regulations that automakers used to justify raising the cost. Those trailer's are 1950's technology with no supporting merits to justify the price. Carbon fiber and titanium should be standard for $25,000. Auto manufacturers spend billions on each model, These things could be designed on an etch a sketch.

We have the Palomino Solaire 211BH. Slightly larger, double axle, no slide outs. Love it. We pull it with a Tundra, but you might be able to pull it with a mid-size truck since it's only about 4,500 lbs dry weight.
I see several comments in here asking if their vehicle can tow it. Check your owner's manual for tow capacities or go to the dealership for your particualr vehicle and ask them. Some of that info is available online but too often it's very general in nature. My truck has it in the owners' manual listed by cab size, motor size, options, and all. It gets very in-depth. Asking a TH-camr (who is very knowledgable) can put him at risk if he says yes but options on your vehicle have it restricted to a lower tow capacity and he knows nothing about those options. You also have to consider how many people and how much cargo you're carrying in the tow vehicle. My 2 cents worth.
I do like how well packaged that little coach was. I've always liked palimino, but that trailer is something I actually love. Also another good midsize trailer is the Winnebago Micro Minnie.
Great camper. Really like the layout. If anyone is looking for a small rig similar but has bunks for the kids I would recommend the kestone summerland mini 1800BH (21ft). I've had one for a few years now and love it. Easily tow-able by a Tahoe, even in the mountains. And its about $7k less that this one. Great work. love the amount of details in your videos.
I was going to buy a Tacoma and bought a Tundra after my neighbor blew his transmission towing a trailer within his weight class for his Yukon XL. When towing you also need to consider drag and also what you are carrying in the truck. My Tundra is rated for 10,000 lbs and I test towed another neighbors 8,500 GW trailer. On level ground it was bearable but when I hit the hills, I decided my truck is lacking. Looking at a 3/4 ton diesel for a trailer and using the Tundra for my boat.
I think the RL-181 would be perfect for my small family just the 3 of us the kid can sleep on the sofa sleeper and the queen size up front its perfect. Plus I have a Ford Ranger so all I have to do is upgrade it to the tow package (swap the 3.55's for 3.73's or better and add the trailer hitch) and i'm all set
Nice layout. As a single, digital Nomad I would totally full time in that floor plan. I have off road needs so I’m looking at Opus and OBi products. For those of you seriously considering this I recommend comparing this to the lance 1575 or 1685. You are paying a lot more for the Lance but it should give you a good basis of comparison. Kind of like looking at a Camry then looking at a Lexus ES to compare fit and finish.

I own a 13 Tacoma with a V6 and it is a TRD sport which comes with the tow package. My wife and I just towed our new Rockwood Roo home from the dealer. The Roo is just around 4000 ounds and my truck is rated to Tow 6600 pounds. I can assure you I would not want any more to Tow...the best speed to Tow our RV was 80 km hr or 50 mph. I tried 100 km hr or 60 mph and my transmission was in 3rd gear...at 90 km hr or 55 mph it was in 4th...once speed was below 90 km hr was my transmission able to get to 5th gear. I am seriously thinking of buying a Tundra with a V8 and more tow power. Now don't get me wrong....The V6 in the Taco is no slouch but 4000 lbs and the drag from a big box is noticeable. Now...as for this trailer...it is nice but The Roo Hybrid is way more roomy and basically weighs the same. The Roo can sleep 6 or 7 people with not much problem. This trailer showcased is great for a couple but if you are like me and have lots of neices and grandkids...The Roo Hybrid is a better deal.
Trying to bring my motorcycle with us. What's your opinion on the best option. Toy hauler seem nice but a motorcycle doesn't need that much "garage space".

Very nice video but in all honesty the back connection is a quick connect and not a regulator lol (regulator up front where the propane tank hooks up) but yes I do get what your trying to say. It is a really nice small RV
A wood constructed trailer won't last long though. Especially using OSB for floors or panels. US manufacturers should take note how the Aussies construct their trailers. Propane should only be used for outdoor cooking or fire pits. Diesel heating and for cooking stoves won't introduce moisture in the interior. And by using a positive air flow fans, it will help keep the dust out too.

I have a 30 foot 5th wheel but I have no kids, and its just my fiance and my self. So we are looking for a trailer we can go hiking with and pull behind my 05 Tacoma 4x4 5 speed 4cyl i have put 5:13 gears in it to help with the mnts we live in with the 33 inch tires. My truck already has brake box and firestone ride right air bags i use it daily to haul my small lawn mower trailer, and it does very well with 4000lbs. But I've never had it on the interstate or really over 55mph. My question is would this trailer be safe for my set up or should i scrap the idea of my tacoma and just use the 1 ton and 30 foot trailer for all of our vacations?

darren smith I am pulling a 33 ft 6500 lbs dry weight with an F150 V8 the only time I noticed I had a trailer was when going uphill on steep climbs, I have not tested with a ram truck but I am pretty sure the trailer in this video will not be a problem for any full size truck.

Yesterday I saw a video of yours featuring two single axle travel trailers. One I think was an RPOD by Forest River. The other I don't know. The one had the LED clearance light mounted on top of the fender as the coach did not extend over the frame of the trailer. Would you please direct me to that video. I can't seem to find it. Would I need a WDS. I have seen another video stating the WDS , can put to much weight on the single trailer axels. Any feedback would be appreciated.
this particular unit is under 4000 lbs in most configurations, it should be fine in a full size with just a trailer hitch regardless of engine or gear ratio
No, All new diesel at reputable station pumps are the same (assuming it's fresh and from a quality source). Though they might come in either 1-D or 2-D, both are fine for your truck. 2-D generally has a higher Centane, which makes the fuel a bit easier to burn.
the diesel is the same, the problem is pickup trucks use a smaller filler nozzle the semi truck nozzle doesn't fit in the filler neck you would need to fill a diesel canister with the semi truck nozzle then put it in the pickup truck with the filler neck
Not a good layout if you actually want to see outside. The dinette is situated so that your back is to the window and you're facing the wall. That's a deal-killer for me. I prefer models with rear dinette with windows all around. Also, pass through storage is small -- you would not be able to slide a lawn chair or fold up solar panel into that space.
My truck (2014 Isuzu Dmax, 3.0 Turbo Diesel Intercooler, 136HP, 320NM) has a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes. Would it be able to haul a trailer like this?
that's about 7000 lbs this trailer weighs 3300 lbs so its perfect for your truck, even the off road configuration (it comes with a little loading ramp on the front for an ATV and 28" off road tires) weighs less than 4500 lbs.
Couple of issues, no stove vent, light that vents outside, fridge is to small, needs a 6 cubic foot. Needs 2 propane tanks, needs 2 batteries with 2 solar panels.

The new Colorado can pull much more now and mine has a 768 lb tongue weight limit and can tow 7700 lbs.
Also in the future please include tank sizes. I purchased my truck camper based on fresh water tank size.
Go to the mfg website and ck the unit with specs, etc.
The yellow sticker on the side @4:42 states water mass of 72 kg; that would make it 19 gallons.

Couple of issues, no stove vent, light that vents outside, fridge is to small, needs a 6 cubic foot. Needs 2 propane tanks, needs 2 batteries with 2 solar panels.
