Great Vid mate plenty of action on the sounder and on the rod, love it. So disappointed I could not make it, you boys smashed it!! Hopefully I'll be able to go on the next one 😃
going to be up that way on hols next month and was going to bar Monduran from the reputation... but your videos have convinced me to give it a shot looks like I will need to put the hard yards in but definitely optimistic!
Appreciate the comment, thanks mate. Momdy in winter has been some of the best fishing I've had. I'll also be making my way up there soon. Let me know how you go!
Great video snagd team.. love some barra action. Learned last time i went there that most of the fish we see under or close to the boat are actually swimming circles around it. Gives the ilusion of lots of fish passing by. The big ones are also in the weed and dont bite often.
Feels like we didn't see a fish under 90cm for a while at Mondy. Do you feel like the size has dropped since the floods (maybe some of the bigger fish went over)?
Im surprised about size of barra, especially after seeing so many consistent big barra on the sounder. Personally, I think the bigger barra are further up the dam. Any big barra from Jack's down are seeing lures everyday and won't bite. That's my thoughts anyway. Dam levels haven't risen that much for barra to escape over the spill way...yet
Good day mate ! How are you ? I’m comming around brisbane for a job and I might have 3 days off and I’m looking for the closest spot with a fishing guide to catch barramundi and saratoga ! Would you be keen to give me an adress and name maybe ? Please ! Thank you bro ! :-)
Mate what a time to be alive! Barramundi is an interesting one. I'd go Monduran for a fresh water barra (5hrs drive from brissy) or catch a flight to Arlie Beach and try your luck for a salty. You'd need to pay for a guide tho. Could be expensive. Barra around Brisbane do exist, but it's hard to find them in thr brissy River. You'd need a few days to suss it out haha. Let me know how you go!
We love Dave!!!

The only way to really know for sure is to get 360 + another sounder or Garmin Live Scope and a mortgage to pay for all haha.
@@snagdfishing yeah, i went with someone that had the 360 haha, no way im spending that money too

Hey mate what weight rod do you use? And what pound line?
I was using a Diawa Swamp Donkey 4-9kg rod and 20lb Sufix 832 braid with 80lb Mono Black Magic Leader.
Hey mate, what was the bait caster you were using at the very start of the video?
That was my Diawa TD Sol III baitcaster. Never gives me a birdsnest 👌
