I got all the skins when it was still for gambling, but I would've saved around a thousand ichor if I had waited until the change because I got really unlucky with dupes. I also wouldn't have willingly bought the geode pebble, least favorite out of all the skins.
I personally thought the gambling was fun but I get why they changed it
