@@unknownhero2519eternal soul destruction effect only works if its destroyed/sent to the graveyard or banished, when it got attached as material, it never left the field therefore the destruction effect doesn't activate.
I would suggest running 1-2 triple tactics thrust which can help break boards by searching for talent, evenly or even feather duster if opponent activates a handtrap or monster on your turn

Underworld Goddes might be helpful. You can remove the Super Poly targets for her (and maybe Avramax).
