Sad to see a vibrant young actor become old. It is losing a part of my younger days growing up, a reminder that I too am aging, tho no one knows how long anyone has, its make the best of the time we all have, remember the past, but not to live in it. People now, our time is now, and be thankful for being in the present.
Not quite, from Chicago with serious ties too the "Syndicate",or "The Outfit" as it's been named back from the Capone bootlegging day's! Conrad was known for always leaning on the Outfit too do his dirty work!!!
Wow he still looked handsome even after all these years. I will watch the Wild West Re runs now with sadness. Many prayers and thoughts to his family during this difficult time. 🙏🏻
RIP🌸 MR .ROBERT CONRAD🌸 MY CONDOLENCES TO YOUR FAMILY What a Handsome Smart man we just. Lost hewas a handsome man all thur his years inside and out in his youth and mid and older age til THE END I LOVE THE WILD WILD WEST he play in I WAS IN DIAPERS WHEN THIS SHOW WAS AIRING .YOU SURELY WILL BE MISS I LOVE ❤❤❤❤ YOU REST IN PEACE YOU ARE WITH JESUS NOW. FROM MARY WITH LOVE . YOUR FAN
When I was six years old I had such a crush on Robert Conrad, Rest in Peace. Him and Bill Bixby. Oh ya, and Wayne Newton. My favorite tv shows were Wild Wild West, My Favorite Martian, and the Ed Sullivan Show.
One of my favorite actors as a kid. Everything I saw him in I loved. His car wreck really nearly got him. You can see here he doesn't use his right arm. RIP sir. If you close your eyes you can still see him in his younger days through his voice.
I actually met Robert Conrad on the set of W3. Maybe some fan can help me out here: It would have been the '67-'68 season. The scene was a circuit setting, and West was being tried by a jury of animals. I consider myself doubly lucky as it was one of about 10 episodes that co-starred the late Michael Dunn as Dr. Miguelito Loveless. My seventh grade teacher was a close friend of Mr. Conrad, having taught his kids a few years previously.
Michael Witkowski you met him. What was he like. I think after the accident he became a bit nasty. I watched 2 of his interviews and in one he was getting angrier. When the interview ended he kept telling his host’ he kept staring at me. He kept staring at me throughout ! ( he was talking about the live audience. One if the men in the audience. His son or someone motioned him out of the room. In another interview he kept being negative. Sad end
Yeah the remake was an incredible slap in the face to Conrad, who's easily in the conversation of who's the most athletic actor. He was on the verge of becoming a professional boxer when his acting career got traction.
Yeah,my uncle Irish Frankie Crawford knocked him out while they were training for a fight. Conrad was his Manager for a brief period until they both went gangster on each other!!!
my fav show maybe ever you guys were bad ass i got to watch the fresh new versions when they came out....... it was a sad day when that show ended good job Rob and Ross you guys were 007 before i saw 007
The ONLY actor I’ve ever loved, since I was ten years old 49 years of my life, there’ll never be another for me but you RC! Rest In Peace! Until we meet again!? 🙏💔😓 my heart goes out to your family and loved ones! Class act for sure! No one of his caliber ever gave of themself like he has, shared every aspect and answered any question brought to him! Don’t know if there’ll ever be another, that we care to learn about as much, that would ever do that for us, his fans! They broke the mold after you were born for sure! Not bad to look at either!! For men AND women!!
I miss you also, you were and still are one of my heroes as a child. I hear that iconic theme song in my head whenever I think of you and Arty on your wild adventures. Thank you!
Eu e minha família assistimos sempre essa série! James West!!
Robert Conrad !!!
We lost such a treasure when he passed. That the Will Smith version sucked is an understatement. But Robert Conrad was one of my heroes as a kid, not unlike Clint Eastwood or Christopher George from the Rat Patrol. REAL MEN! My generation's heroes are almost gone & it makes me sick to think kids today look up to the Kardashians or Jersey Shore!
Poor Dear Robert Conrad was not very well when this was taken. He suffered a lot in the last few years of his life. It was not fair for such a nice person. I met Robert when he was here in a stage production of "The Fantastics" and he came out after the show to talk to a few of us fans. He was really a down-to Earth-person. And I'll never forget it. Why can't more stars be like Robert Conrad was ? R. I. P. Dear Soul.
I like Robert Conrad and also baa baa Black sheep he played pappy based on a true story in world war II I got a chance to meet the real pappy boyington in San Diego California
I'm glad he's o.k. I am watching the re runs of W.W. Unread the snips about him in search. Didn't know he was a stunt man! Risked that beautiful face. Those eYes!!!
Robert, I'm sorry I accidently pushed you out of the way at Lauderdale executive airport back in 1986. I needed a weather briefing from the phone in the lounge and didn't even know it was you. RIP
I saw a comment on another post that said if William Shatner hadn't been Capt. James T Kirk that Robert Conrad would have been great in that role, and I agree. I also think that Ross Martin would have made an excellent Dr. McCoy. I'd love to see that version of Star Trek!
Remember the battery commercials, go ahead, I dare you! I liked his acting, and we watched Wild Wild West every week or everytime it came on, Baa Baa Black Sheep wasn't really given a chance, oh well. RIP!
Nice interview. Rest in Paradise Robert. 💗👋🙏📽️🎞️

That was the episode The Night of Miguelito's Revenge which aired during the fourth season.
@@HerrEllsworth Good call, Bender. I found in the DVD set I have of the full series. Many thanks, my friend.
Loved wild wild west as a kid. Well done Mr. Conrad you made a young boy happy.

it was a sad day when that show ended
good job Rob and Ross
you guys were 007 before i saw 007
CBS thought westerns weren't the future. Cancelled this and Big Valley and I'm sure others.
Both shows I think were doing very well. Loved both.
@@robjohnson8861 It was cancelled because of Governor Pastore from Rhode Island. He thought it was too violent.
@@ravinblue7516 It was a CBS call. He was involved with PBS.
Guys were tough, women were beautiful, and lots of neat gadgets. Who could ask for more! The show ended way too soon.
RIP Robert Conrad,
The movie has good performances and some memorable phrases. Got to revisit it one day. The TV Show had superior scripts. So well crafted.

ROBERT CONRAD (1935 - 2020)
Pasquinel, great actor RIP
rip Robert
I first saw Robert Conrad on Hawaiian Eye. And what really attracted me to the show was a gorgeous young lady by the name of Connie
Stevens .
Loved him on Battle of the Network Stars.
PAPPY, CLEAR SKIES AND TAILWINDS... 👍🇺🇸
I hv seen the tv series like Mysteres de l ouest. Such character and actor like u will never walk on this earth again.

Robert, I'm sorry I accidently pushed you out of the way at Lauderdale executive airport back in 1986. I needed a weather briefing from the phone in the lounge and didn't even know it was you. RIP
@Jeffrey Bone I was lucky.
A TRUE AMERICAN BADASS!
Super man,,,, je t'adores Robert Conrad
Robert Conrad did his own stunts too.
Brad Stevens He did like 90% until he almost died from a fall swinging off a chandelier in January 1968.
I thought Red West did the stunts.
SOME OF THEM
It said in the doc. that he rarely used a stunt double
He did a show on ABC in the early 1970's called Assignment Vienna that he did his own stunts. It was a short run but I liked it.
I agree, he nailed Pasquinel. Lotsa great acting and actors in Centennial, but his was the be best. Am binging on it again. ;-)
R.I.P Mr Robert Conrad peace
Très classe monsieur robert
Rest in peace......

Liked Robert in Columbo ☹️
I personally think that was the best Columbo episode
I refused to see the movie version of Wild Wild West. It should never have been made.
me too!
I still have never seen a minute of it. Dumb and nothing like the original
You aren't bulls hitting in the least .
Remember the battery commercials, go ahead, I dare you! I liked his acting, and we watched Wild Wild West every week or everytime it came on, Baa Baa Black Sheep wasn't really given a chance, oh well. RIP!
