You asked to comment on pain in parotid swelling..I was watching marrow pyq n in patho pyq Dr Ila Jain told in one of the old questions that pleomorphic adenoma does not infiltrate nerves so I guess pain should be due to stretching of fascia
The patho pyq was ..which of the following isn't seen in pleomorphic adenoma...other options were ...squamous differentiation - keratin pearl, chondroid differentiation, myxoid background...answer was perineurial infiltration

Yes. You can ask the patient to stop alcohol 😀

Yes true metronidazole shouldn't be given with alcoholic same goes for chloramphenicol
