I am a Gujju (Patel ) from London and our life is very similar to what NIk said… very structured.. i have meals planned almost for 3-4 days in advance sometimes on Monday I have plan even up to next Sunday… and once plan made I just follow .. little easier as we cook only one meal everyday And my sister live in India and their life is very much you describe.. 7 pm they decide what they gonna cook for the evening meal I can completely relate to both sides as It’s reality in our family too And I love my structured way 😂😂😂
She herself has said that "whenever i am hungry, i get angry/annoyed/frustrated, pls go and warn nick that he has married to a crazy angry person"..! Oops she also has some red flags, overly exited for everything....and obviously the guy is different from her, both have different personalities, he seems to be uninterested in her! I am watching these back today and in hindsight things have changed since. However there is a massive diffrence in their cultures even the jokes he makes. I am from the UK born and bred here, and i can see daljit didnt understand any of his jokes. She is coming across over enthusiastic but to be fair to her she was trying to fit into his world. I dont know if he truly tried to fit into her world. It seems now that he needed a ‘mother’ for his daughter while he makes many business trips abroad. You can also tell he got bored of her very quickly, so only lord knows his intention in marrying her. Feel sorry for her really.
