I need (and have) lots of clutter around me, and I'm incapable of living without it, but I'm always In awe when I see a space like this. I especially love her tiny bedroom, smaller than the average bathroom, but it has room for everything she could possibly need.

I have never seen the combination of both sitting on the floor and having standard height furniture. That is my dream!!! I would much rather sit, eat, and sleep at floor height. But its very hard to have it work visually.

It’s dynamic in the kind of creativity the space itself inspires, but it’s also a very clam, relaxing place, a place where you can breathe and hear yourself think.
I love how her windows are also her entryway. They look like doors from the outside but the change in elevation make them feel like windows from inside!
I'm convinced that books breed in the dark .... You get rid of them and the next thing you know the shelves are overflowing again. Thank you and blass you for all you do, from South Afrika

Those shelves in the bedroom are so ingenious. Very minimalist look, but they hold a lot because they are so long. I'm surprised that one small hook can hold so much weight, but maybe all the weight is on the wood underneath each shelf.
Nice space. I just wonder if that black tarp outside would be stinky or heat up the apartment a lot. I would love to see a lot of flower pots there, but maybe that's not allowed.

Very cool, I could easily live in that space. I downsized from 4k sqft to 1550 sqft & now in 650 sqft 2 bed 1 bath bungalow plus 200 sqft covered outdoor space. I could easily cut indoor space in half. Cost less to keep up, cleaning is a breeze, & I'm not paying a small fortune every month on the out of control rising energy cost to hear & cool
This reminds me of the phrase “less is more”. I wish I could get rid of half my stuff. It’s hard. I always think I’m going to miss it or I attach some sentimental value to random stuff.

I really love the space. Very well thought off - but I must admit that it sound hard to earn your livings like this - like never being secure about where your income is coming from - and having to sort of earn money off of your friends, etc.
I started becoming a minimalist with weight in mind too. I didn't want to have more things than my own weight, I was 65 kg at the time. Afterwards I added the factor of numbers, so to have less than 100 items (that was very hard!) and finally I wanted everything to fit into my 100 litre suitcase and a cabin-size backpack. When I weighed that together, it was 33 kg and I was so surprised and proud of my accomplishment! Being a minimalist is really easy, but becoming one was really hard. 🙂

I have lived out of a not even completely filled 65l backpack for years, it's doable, pleasant and very easy, but unless one is travelling it's completely unnecessary, and stuff and furniture DO make your life more comfortable. So why forego that, if you are staying put somewhere. It just sounds overly, pointlessly rigid. Like anorexia but for stuff.

an appartment like this in Paris, who's like 25 square meters around 150 000 euros, but she buy it old so 100 000/80 000 maybe (plus interior work)
its not the same for the other houses in the mountain from the other videos where the buyers actually did all the buildwork themselve
