My heart hurt for Winter and Torie. She was so brave knowing kinda what was going on. I went through it with both of my kids and my son had to have it done twice like Winter. The second set did the job and I feel like little Winter won't have to go through this again. Her recovery brought back those memories of holding them and trying to comfort them. 🥹 The raspy cries, the Popsicles and trying to get them to drink the apple juice. Praying that she's back to her beautiful smiling face real soon. ❤

I know how you feel, Torie. I’m a mother too. All you can do is comfort them. All we can do for them as parents is be there for them. My daughter is an adult now but I still get that helpless feeling whenever things happen to her that I cannot control. And no matter how old they (and you) get, they will always be your children and when they hurt, you hurt. Hopefully, this surgery has solved the problem. I will be praying for the family. Take care.

By the time she was 7 ish.. years old she grow out of it and never had a problem since

My daughter had this same surgery with the same situation. My daughter was 5 when she had the surgery and she had multiple ear infections and it was bothering her hearing and her speech and it caused her to be delayed in school. But after the surgery she healed up great so im sure Winter will heal up great ❤❤❤❤❤

My twins hair was very similar. Sporadic curls with spots that were slower to grow in and then before you know it they had long thick, health curl hair down to there bums!!! They are mixed with love as well. Give it time and ingore the haters. She's your baby girl and she has her own unique style!!! It can feel frustrating when people try to find any fault when your st peace and happy it's clearly a personal thing!!! Don't let it get in your head! Her hair is longer every time I see her and beautiful!!! Your both doing great being parents in your way!!! Keep growing in your way, your pace!!! Hugs all around and for winter to get stronger in her ears!!! I'm sorry that she has been through so much pain in her ears:( I believe that she will overcome this and hear clear and mabey even spiritually as well as I believe that's the real "hearing" it's all part of her story!!! Yes, I said what I said in love even though it may not be talked about a lot it's okay. I meant it in love and respect!!!
