I sus u didn't watched the vid completely. Viji addressed that kl has himself adopted that extra cautious intent. Their's nothing to analyse abt his fluctuations, it's pretty visible that he lost his charm and tuned his batting style in a mediocre way. The only solution is just to have heck lot of practice and an fearless approach.
Ps: His seat is temporary as of now. The competition is super tight.

K L Rahul is joke in test matches. he played 50 test matches and score 33-34 runs per innings. which is very poor. Even Jadeja has better average than him. Yuvraj who is lot better thanRahul did not find place in tests since he also had similar 33-34 average.
