@@Brandon_Y.it deals damage. Not sure if less than body shots but you don’t waste precious time aiming which is important in the fight to not put yourself in a bad spot.

A like before watching as usual, today I started my platinum run for the memos, strange photos and glimpses of the past, timing is perfect so I can watch it while I fall asleep 😂❤
There’s no timing because you can’t dodge it. All you can do is get out of range. I don’t dodge away in regular runs, just use a rifle shot immediately. Only on “melee only” you have no choice but timing a restart checkpoint to delay his scream and moving out of the way fast enough.
@@JTOCIII it’s fine if you use the shortcut button/key to change to rifle and then aim and shoot. Don’t try to just press aim or the game won’t let you do it in time for some reason.
From what I've seen the dodge mechanic in Silent Hill 2 is better than in Resident Evil 3 remake. It's kind of hard to pull off a perfect dodge in RE3R because of timing, while I find it hilariously awesome that when you dodge in Silent Hill 2 you have invincibility frames no matter how the enemies attack you.

i thought shooting pyramid head in the mask does no damage cuz the shots bounce off. but i see you shooting them in the double boss fight.

I don’t like how it’s designed. It’s understandable to make an exception there but it is avoidable consistently using guns.
