Hey do you NEED the bridge or does it work with the app? Just plug and play?

You need a bridge and sync box unless you got a Samsung tv that has its own app.

it works with bluetooth and cellphone no need bridge you can change the colors etc.... but if you want sync the lights with pc games and videos etc.. you need bridge.. for tv use you need sync box.. if you have smart tv check if hue software pre instaled already if yes you do not need sync box to sync the lights with screen..
