The drummer is Randy Black former drummer of Annihilator and a beast behind the drums. I would but Randy ahead or on the same level as Scott Travis. Glenn tipton and K.K Downing were great and was a class-act together.

He applied as a replace for Rob Halford, but he wasn't taken for the Job, they took Tim "Ripper"Owens. So in a Rage of Fury he formed Primal Fear as a Replacement for not been taken as new Lead Singer for Judas Priest
I love P Fear, especially Ralf cos he is the most versatile HM singer still active. However, the chorus has a backing track of his own voice. That sucks! He don't need that shit.
I'm gonna trust you on that, but until I see them actually compose complex songs (like Judas have been since '82, starting with Screaming for Vengeance, in my opinion ) , I will not be sure they have it in them. To have a great technical level is one thing, to compose good songs is another. Look, for example, at Slash (poor technical level, good composer) versus Chris Broderick, from Megadeth (he's a god on guitars but not yet a good composer). This is my opinion, of course, I might be wrong.
It really isn't, man, and it's never gonna be that good, trust me... Listen to the drum work, to the guitar work, it's nowhere in the same league as Judas Priest, let's be serious... Most of their solos are really very very simple. Their only strong point is Ralph Sheepers, who is indeed a god on vocals! Unfortunately, there's not much support for his talent in this band.
