@Spiny Norman 88 Yes, I agree, if something is not totaly new you loose a little even though it still remains an incredible performance and it shows the full capaibilities of the aircraft and the crew. In all fairness I was totaly shocked when I saw in the mid 80s the first displays with the G-222, from which the C-27 Spartan derives and that, believe me , were really incredible and jaw dropping. I had never seen it done before and, least but not last, in those days safety was not priority and the manouvers were incredible and scary at the same time. Ramstein taught us and the rest of the world that safety is indeed a priority and things have changed in a positive way. We might have lost a little in terms of audacity and spectacularity but it's something we all accept and enjoy.
