Sorry guys! This came in so late. I had a nightmarish kinda editing day.... after hours of editing, i couldn't download the video. heart stop right there. Then I spent hours trying to figure it out and even got hubby involved... I mean HOURS!!!!. Then I just decided to start over in a jiffy because my son had come home and mommy duty was on, even though my wonderful husband took care of dinner and homework for me. He is my hero!!!! So after exhaustion and frustration, this is the best I could do. I am sorry! :( The next one will be better. Love you all and thank you all for always being here and supporting my little channel and challenge!!!! :*
That sure is time-consuming and difficult this way. Why not just get a salon Style hair dryer hood and sit under that while just brushing with down strokes?? Wouldn't that be a lot easier?
@@brianwnc8168 my hair is super curly, so just brushing it down doesn't really work for me - unfortunately 🤷♀

Happy to help! My biggest challenge was figuring out my new colors... which just so happen to be the same as when I was a brunette, but never had the courage to wear them. If you watch trunk club unboxing videos, you will see that bright colors look best on me now. So I have been building up a collection of colorful tops. :)

My hair is so much like yours except maybe a little finer, I deal with lots of frizz. I'm going to try your blow drying technique and coconut oil. I'm letting the undercut grow out and want one length like yours. Bless your heart for the frustration you had trying to get this video! It turned out great and I love your hair.🥰
Thank you, Molly. It was a crazy day, but not bad to have only one frustrating day in 30, right? Do try the coconut oil it really helps with the frizz, just use a light hand. Also, if you don’t care for the scent, drop some favorite essential oil in the batch you make and you are good to go.

hahahhahah the struggle is real.... I heard people use a toothbrush with hair spray to keep them in place. It works, but i don't usually bother. :*

You’re great with that bow dryer, I don’t like all the pulling fit my thin hair. You just have a great head of fabulous hair. Do you use regular coconut oil like in the super market?

Yes, just regular organic just because that’s what I buy for the house. But I don’t care for the scent so I always drop a few drops of lemongrass essential oil in it.

Hi, your hair is so pretty and thick. How do you keep it from yellowing with the heat dry and straightener?
Thank you so much! I only use purple shampoo for every wash. I used to rotate my shampoos, but my hair would keep turning color. It still does, but I try to stay out of the sun too (which means I wear a hat when I am gardening) I just use the purple shampoo from l'oreal from the grocery store. Also, I only wash my hair twice a week max so I don't have to keep using heating tools. Once I style it, I can go for days without messing with it in the winter. During summer months, I give up! LOL

And it doesn’t dry your hair because you put water in it. All you do is let your hair air dry completely and then use it.
