I'm glad to hear you're better Anna! Sometimes these things just happen and then your body wants you to rest. Make sure you get lots of natural vitamins (like oranges and lemons or even orange juice) to boost your immunity. "Shin splints" is something that many hikers get when they walk - especially on asphalt roads (hard surfaces) - ice packs help for aching shin splints (or maybe the cold water of the lakes in Sweden 😉). Take care guys!
Thank you 🙏 Yes as soon as we walk on asphalt the shin splints begin to argue with us 😖 but cold water from any source is heaven 😄👍
Hope Anna will be 100percent well soon. Dan less talking about being restless you are going to.make your sick wife feel bad. Take Care of each other. Stay safe🌺.
Thank you so much 🫶♥️ Haha he’s always restless so I never feel bad about that 😄👍
Hi Dan and Anna. In English the name of the area below the knee where Dan was having the pain is called the "shin", and the large bone is the Tibia or "shin bone". The pain you get there from over use is called "shin splints". Cheers!
Thank you so much for explaining 🫶🫶 as soon as we walk on asphalt it hurts.
@@dananna8614 I think what Dan meant is periosteum is a difficult English word for us to remember. Unbelievably beautiful today again.
@@LarsNilsson-nx7fw exactly that word, thank you 🙏 inflammation in periosteum = Periostitis but also called shin splints. Now when I have written this maybe I will remember it until next time 😄👍
