This video resurfaces my immense feelings for more homeworld/diamonds content. I want a diamonds backstory so bad. I hope we can get that someday. I want to know more beyond Pink’s flashbacks + a reveal of their creators.
For people who hate pink, yet like blue, yellow, or white is crazy to me. Pink is the most human despite being far from human out of all the gems outside of the main cast. Not only are gems morally and view life differently, but she actually changed. Meanwhile the other diamonds just be corrupting, shattering and so on, taking planets, whiping life and so on. They've done way worse then what? Left that clingy girl on that one planet? Left Bismuth bubbled, and left steven with some problems. All that is much less problematic than any of the other dimonds, and honestly even some of the fodder gems.
Thissss like it will always piss me off like did we watch and understand the same thing like how can you simp so hard for the three and they do from the groups and artwork I see everywhere but just hate pink and never acknowledge her story as a whole just only the bad things she did even if it wasn’t intentional vs the other diamonds especially white who were intentionally wrong with the way they mistreated and abused pink like they’re the reason she made these horrible decisions it’s hurt learned behavior from them three you all drool over like bffr

Well the problem with this idea that pink is a child is false. She is not a child and she is not born later than any of the other diamonds. They emerged together as “Sisters” or 4 pieces to one creation. They treated pink the way she behaved. She was very immature despite being born alongside the other diamonds. She was an off colored diamond if nothing else and it left pink basically ignoring other diamonds feelings on her behavior.
A future steven universe story should absolutely bring in the creators of the Gems. Maybe something like the Forerunners from Halo, where you only face off against one of the ancient race.
Honestly, to me, pink diamond is one of the best characters in Cartoon Network and cartoon history to mention she is pink, which is the best color in the world But the fact that she’s a pink diamond, the best type of a diamond in the world that’s even more iconic and that’s just like a base traits The fact that she was a diamond who decided to step out of her own reality for other gems below, her class is so loving and shows how much she actually cared for other people, even if she didn’t realize how her decisions impacted those people Pink diamond will forever be my favorite diamond out of the whole authority. They take her to a colony, she runs off collecting caterpillars. And she ain't even a child, for all we know Pink is the same age as the other Diamonds
All true but the other diamonds treated her as such. Pink was never included in the diamonds other affairs so she never knew what was serious and what wasn’t. If they treated her as an equal rather than a bratty little sister then she may have been different
I had a thought about the Diamond's origins. What if they were created by a race of creatures made completely out of darkness? The color black absorbs light. And the gems are made out of light. What if the dark creatures made the diamonds, and by proxy gemkind, as a way to create light that the dark creatures would absorb? I think it would be really ironic if a race of light beings were created by beings of the darkness.😅
