[EN] MiniDrivers - F1 - 2021 Belgian GP

- Formula 1 returned from their summer break, and they did it at Spa Francorchamps, the favorite track for almost every driver; a roller coaster with exciting turns, where we always have action, overtakes, battles... only if we have a dry race... This weekend the Belgian GP was held under the rain, and Formula 1 wanted a safe race so they tried to delay the start of the race as much as possible, and 4 hours later, they decided to cancel the race, but that doesn't mean we didn't had action. The MiniDrivers are ready to bringing the best highlights of those 4 hours where we had show with other type of sports, surprises, and much more in one of our craziest chapters.

I agree
3 facts of this weekend:
-Since when a race is red-flagged, the official results are from 2 laps before the red flag, officially, this was a 1-lap race. The only way to have a shorter race would be to repeat this again elsewhere... which won't happen again. This will be forever the shortest race in F1 history.
-Carlos Sainz has officially completed just 2 laps in the last 3 Belgian GP, yet he's got a points finish (albeit 0.5 points).
-You would think there's no way someone would get a penalty in a raceless race, right? But Lance Stroll isn't limited by puny constraints: he managed to get a 10-second penalty for an unauthorized rear wing change.
And mazepin got fastest lap

This is one of the best MiniDrivers so far, even though it was one of the craziest chapters so far.

Tbh the podiums from the 2005 farce and this race are quite similar:
- Two drivers quietly leaving the podium
- One driver from a lower midfield team/ backmarker enthusiastic with his 1st podium
How adaco managed to make this episode is amazing, not to mention the little sauber video easter egg at the end:)
What I learned from this race is that the pole position is really important.

I remember in 2018, the British MotoGP and Belgian GP happened on the same day, the MotoGP race was cancelled due to heavy rain. Those 2 races happened on the same day again this year and now it's F1's turn lol

Wow guys! In contrast to the fact that there was no regular race, you did the best minidrivers F1 episode ever! The How I Meet Your Mother reference was awsome!
In the UK, Anthony Davidson said Fuji 07 was worse. So for me, that means Pirelli had a lot to answer for. Every time we get on to wet tyres we never race. Look at quali, it was either inters or a red flag.
We complain about the tyres but also the aero of the cars have a serious problem because of that. In normal conditions drivers can’t be close to another one because of the dirty air, and in rain conditions we have the same problem, we have tyres that can take out so much water but they cause a curtain that affect the drivers behind

I'm belgian and you did pretty good job : there was some football play, some pétanque, even some ice cream around the rain.
I mean, even a firstlap crash got ranked in a rain race that was more race able than last laps in Sochi. Should we trade places for Marshall's between Russia and Belgium?
Even better : in F1, weather isn't random, f1 rules are
