Thank you so much for watching my basic Monday video. How to lighten/bleach your eyebrows. I have been bleaching my brows for the past 6-7 months and I do it often because of my blonde hair color. This is not a necessary step in order to rock blonde hair but it’s something that makes me feel more comfortable because I don’t like the harsh contract between MY dark black eyebrows and light blonde hair. My brow hairs are super thick and dark, so the front part looks a bit too harsh for my taste instead of the natural look where the hairs are thinner in the front, I'm hoping lightening the fronts parts will help with that! Thanks for the tutorial

How often do you retouch them? How about the previously bleached parts, don´t they get some orange colour? I´d like to lighten mine but I´m concerned about getting orange brows.

Would you suggest someone who also is brunette and wants to go blonde and wants to bleach your brows but would you suggest eyebrow reshaping? My eyebrows are darker but they also thicker

I've always been soooooooo terrified to bleach my own brows, but I finally gave in once I saw a ton of girls doing it on TH-cam without angsting about potential blindness. I mean.... the Jolen box does say "for eyebrows".
So if this does go in your eyes is it fine and not that bad

Did you only use bleach? Was there no dye involved? I am planning on dying mine but dont want my eyebrows to turn orange lol but if you only used bleach alone with creme developer then im good cause your brows look BOMBB, but yes please let me know xx

I have watched several videos on eyebrow bleaching and this is by far the most helpful. Bonus is my natural hair color is similar to yours so that makes it even more helpful. Thank you!! I’m headed to the drugstore to pick up my bleach- wish me luck 😁

Oh really ive dark brown eyebrows and blonde hair well trying to get it blonde .. just wondering do your eyebrows go orange do u need another col over
@@ash5241 I have dark brown eyebrows. I haven’t had a problem with them turning orange, but I have to be careful about bleaching them too often because they can turn too white which looks strange. I’m going for more of a “no eyebrow “ look, but if you want yours to be a more natural blonde, maybe only leave the bleach on for five minutes and see what happens before you do the full ten minutes. I wish you luck!

I saw this person brush over their eyebrows with the leftover hair dye to match them, they said they did it regularly and didnt cause any damage or hair loss

For darker hair usually you would go two shades lighter than your hair. For light hair you go two shades darker.

your dark eyebrows actually kindah blended nicely with the darker parts of your hair but you look great with lighter eyebrows too 😌

Match your skin tone with the blonde you want. If you have warm skin tone, go for honey. If cool go for ash.

HELP! I tried to lighten my brows and left the bleach on too long and it’s went orange. So I tried to fix it and put brown beard dye in it but now it’s WAYY too dark for me. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do?! (I also can still see some orange)

do you know how this looks when the darker hair starts to grow back? Should you keep up with it?
I would think it would become Patchy after several weeks depending on how fast your brows come in but you could get away with it for awhile with powders/ eyebrow pencils

My teenage daughter has Lilly Collins EXACT brows, imagine trying to bleach those. Which is weird, bc she was SUPER blonde until about age 13. But, here we are. First bleaching in process now.
Question. For brows as dark and thick as my daughter’s, can we reapply over several days? Or do you suggest waiting a certain amount of time between applications? She’s gonna need a LOT

Yes your natural brow hair color will grow out just like hair on your head.

Brow hairs usually fall out after 30-45 days. Same with basically all hairs that aren't on the top of your head.

There are asians that have naturally blonde hair in parts of Northern China
in my opinion i dont like people woth dark brown eyes, to have lighter hair and black eyebrows. I love the lighter eyebrow look.

It's not worth the risk. The info. is out there. You can go blind, there should be some things no one should do to look good.
could you tell me more about this? i'm not really too aware of why so many people do this if it's that dangerous
@@w.2902 My cousin became blind in 1 eye. Do the research it is all out there. The same reason botox can permanently paralyze a person's face.
@@mikesullivan7305 If you take the precautions not to get it in your eyes you will not go blind. If you go to a beautician and get it done with your eyes closed and lying on your back there is no reason it would get in your eyes. As for botox, people with cerebral palsy and gastroparesis get botox to relieve the symptoms of paralysis. I know because I have had botox in my stomach to ease it open and allow food to pass through. If applied correctly with the right amount in the right areas, facial paralysis should not be a problem.
@@earthtear9586 wrong. what precautions?. u need to be more specific. people only have 1 pair of eyes. no beautifican is legally capable of bleaching brows. it's ILLEGAL in almost every state. Stop spreading misinformation. If a tiny bit gets in the eye that's it you're blind in at least 1 if not both eyes depending on the extent.
@@mikesullivan7305 I gave you the specifics. I'm not going to repeat myself again. Lying on back, eyes closed. I'm not from the US and no, one small drop of the correct chemicals, correctly mixed, should not cause blindness if washed out immediately. It should only cause irritation. There should always be an allergy test beforehand. What happened to your sister was very unfortunate, and rare. It should *never* get in the eyes if applied correctly. I'm very sorry about what happened to your sister and I understand why you disagree with it but that is a personal opinion and you are fear mongering by enforcing it. It is a very common procedure and the overwhelming majority of people who regularly get it done do not go blind. Getting it in your eye is unfortunate, but even that would rarely cause blindness if treated immediately and appropriately.
