Korda got the perfect poker face /his returns /defense are really good and he doesn't seem annoyed with long lifted balls + his tactical game looks quite good also comparing other tennis players on tour Interesting player to follow for 2025 !
Korda prolly never struggled in the juniors, he reminds me of the kind of player that beats people with perfect groundstrokes and it looks like he isnt even trying 😂
Call me crazy but Korda's flow reminds me of Federer. His strokes are so smooth and so effortless it's a joy to watch. I think if he improves his footwork and his defensive ability he will be a real GS contender
check 09:10 for a good example he won't be a contender anytime soon. Like I said in my own post: I can honestly see a 50 year old Djokovic/Sinner/Alcaraz get that ball back over the next. Let alone massive angled shots by actual contenders flying out of the corner where he would have to slide to get to the ball.
FAA/Paul was a terrible match with almost all unforced errors. Korda/Kec, on the other hand, was much better quality. FAA made over 50 unforced errors and Korda is looking really solid. Have to give the edge to Korda.
@@theyruinedyoutubeagainKorda is not really peaky. He always imposes authority and is actually consistent when not injured. So fingers crossed of injury free he is easily top 10 material
So glad Korda is healthy again. My fave US player. Michelsen, Shelton, Paul - and Fritz and Opelka a little less all kinda bug. FAA not sure why I find him so boring to watch, but glad he's playing well again. And no one bugs more than Rune.
Great to see Korda healthy and enjoying tennis again. Guy could be top 10 if he can stay healthy. Hope his draw at AO lets him ease into 2nd round. He can go down too easy in 1st round GS matches in the past
FAA seems to have a problem holding onto advantages. Being a set up and a break up, how do you end getting broken 3 times and lose the second set 3-6? The amount of unforced errors he’s been creating is also bad. TP was a bit off his game in this one, but on any regular day he would’ve clubbed FAA in straight sets based on the way FAA was playing. Expecting Korda to win in straight sets. He hasn’t missed a beat since returning from that injury
Korda has smooth groundstrokes and it's a pleasure to see that tennis but if someone wants a clue why he isn't a grand slam contender (defense), check 09:10 the second set 3-3 40-15 and the last ball Kecmanovics plays to win the point. Even a 50 year old Djokovic or Sinner would get that ball back...
that was a great shot from Kecmanovic, i agree Korda seems a step slow sometimes but come on, one point doesnt determine the overall picture. I would say most people wouldnt get that back.
@@seancarroll5803 that's why it is called a 'clue'' (not a complete analysis or proof). And that was a good shot, but it isn't even on the line and in the corner. The question is this: would Sinner, Djokovic, Medvedev, Zverev, Alcaraz return that shot? The answer is yes, absolutely. That's the benchmark if one wants to be a Slam contender. Because at that level your defense must be absolutely world class, getting back balls on a continious basis, turning defense into offence on a regular basis and against the expectation of your opponent.
FAA has a super solid game, hes got a lot of potential and imo a very high ceiling for the level he could reach if he could just improve his terrible mental game. no shame to lose to him

Korda was silky smooth!
Playing FAA for your Top 10 debut it tough…
Korda for the title!
💯 easy money
Yes, no doubt
Win Alliasime
please
I hope so
FAA is finally getting over his slump, hopefully he will do better this year. Korda is playing with such ease.
Would love to see FAA finally win an outdoor hardcourt title.
Agree, but he really needs to work on reducing unforced errors
Really nice win for FAA😊
Korda prolly never struggled in the juniors, he reminds me of the kind of player that beats people with perfect groundstrokes and it looks like he isnt even trying 😂
focus on Korda footwork this match... reminds me of the GOAT RF

Nah, not slam material
Korda is a Walmart Federer 😂

He's not fast enough. He's not agile and lacks the footspeed to be great at defense.
At best he can be a Fritz like player.
Aliassime's net game is very good.
rooting for Korda to keep that form up. Amazing
And Tommy's wait to crack the top 10 goes on 😅

Tommy Paul. A real journeyman tennis player. Does his job well no complaints...
Imagine calling a top 20 player a journeyman.
That’s not what a journeyman is 😐
When Korda is on, he looks unplayable!
That's exactly what the look on Miomir's face said -- it must be extra annoying when these peaky players turn godlike exactly during your match haha
@@theyruinedyoutubeagainKorda is not really peaky. He always imposes authority and is actually consistent when not injured. So fingers crossed of injury free he is easily top 10 material
The way Tommy Paul plays is just beautiful. Casual yet confident. Super talented AMERICAN!! LETS GOOOOO!!!
one of the most boring playing styles on tour personalities as well. dont know how you can like him
@ Opinions matter (:
i respect Tommy but beautiful def aint what first comes to mind when i see him play lol
Esp considering he's in the same video as Korda
@ 🤣🤣 Good point
Miomir was playing beautifully throughout the series, but Korda was playing out of the world today! Miomir was like, what's going on here!!!
Wow, Kordas backhand is so much better than FAA
Korda has the game and creativity to beat FAA. Hurts me to say cause I be Canadian and I really hope I'm wrong.
Ill have to agree Korda is above as a player but Korda tend to get tootless when stake matter
tommy’s sliding is insane!
Feliz auger aliassime está volviendo a su nivel, cuidado!!!🎉

Go go FAA

Felix vs Seb. That's gonna be great.
Korda has to start winning like Nelly ⛳️ 🏌️♀️
Would’ve been such an Auger-Aliassime thing to do to bottle that from that position
Korda wins in 3 and goes deep in the Aus open
He will get tired at the AO and lose early.
Choker Aliassime will be trounced the next round in straight sets.
Come on FELIX!!!!

Yess Félix 🎾🥎☀️💙👌
superb performance by Korda. He's the most flamboyant player on the tour. He's looking very good:)
Faa should have won in 2 sets why does he have to make it tough every game
Choker
FAA with his usual Australian courts form.
Auger will get title..
why did they ditch the old "out" sounds, this new one sounds terrible and unenergetic
Que interesante tenis de Paul y Aliassime 👌 ya que otros partidos puros peloteos aburridos
Go FAA for the title
TP disappointing
FAA STRAIGHT SETS EASY WIN. LETS PUT MONEY 🙌🏾🙏🏾
did you even watch Korda and how good he was
FFA played terrible he had 60 unforced errors and got lucky many times. Undeserved win for sure.
So salty 😂
first
FAA always plays well against american players
Kecmanovic should play for slovenia this guy is just so bad in tennis losing against korda so much potenital in 2022
mate shut up you dont know anything
It was a great match from both, Korda played fantastic, you clearly dont know much about tennis.
@@seancarroll5803yeah kecmanovic played so well that he didnt get a single break point in the whole match! Great tennis indeed

He's been to 16 finals in his career. He's got what it takes. If he beats T. Paul, supposedly a good player, he must be just as good or better.
My cat is now convinced that he too can become a TH-cam star. I think we have a new project🐱
If I got paid for every minute I spent on TH-cam, I'd have bought myself an island by now and named it Laughter💖
