Hello... I don't know if you could help me. I have a Millenium MD-90. The fact is that I want to modify it by adding 6 mono jack outputs to add 6 more pads made by me to assign various sounds to them and I don't know if it can be done. I only have 7 pads, so I only have one pad for snare, hi-hat, ride, 3 tombs and only one pad for a single crash and I get quite bored. This drum module has 165 instruments, but I can only assign 7. I have thought about buying triggers and making 6 homemade pads, to which I can assign sounds from the MD-90, since it has many crashes, toms, rides, chimes and more. I have thought about opening the module and soldering at the junction of the pads that already has some cables and making 6 holes to put 6 6.35mm TS jack outputs and then making some triggers with a 6.35mm jack input attached to some 80/ 100mm to connect them to those outputs and assign cymbal sounds to them, since you have many to choose from. What I don't know is IF THIS CAN BE DONE OR IF IT WOULD WORK. I think YES, what happens is that I don't know if I will need an electronic card or it would simply be to solder the cables from the jack outputs to the pads of the MD-90 and if I do this, I can assign different instruments to those 6 outputs. 6.35mm jack. I know how to solder with tin, but I don't know how to electronic it nor do I know if it is possible to do this project on my Millenium MD-90 (tabletop drums).
