Thesis of a Sailor Soldier

Of all the AMVs I've so far, this one is my favorite. It took of many many redos to complete, and not long afterwards did I realize that there are even more things that need to be done to make the video juuust perfect. The song used here is "Thesis of a Cruel Angel" from the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime. The video footage is from the Sailor Moon anime, of course. For the final chorus of the music video, I modeled the video after the intro to the Evangelion tv series. I thought that would be really cool, and while it's not perfect, I think it turned out great. I made the word stills and inserted them accordingly. I hope you like this vid!

I love how you used all the darker seasons/moments from Sailor Moon and meshed them with the light-hearted stuff, fits the song nicely. On a side note, Misato Katsuragi is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi and is confirmed by the Eva staff to be a 29 year old Usagi, Rei Ayanami was named after Rei Hino in order to get Ikuhara on Eva (though Sato did become a screenwriter, same as Yoji Enokido). Also, Haruka and Shinji are both voiced by Megumi Ogata. Eva and BSSM similarities: 85%. Damn you Anno.

So the minute I click on this video I look at the recommended videos on the right side of the webpage, and they are all amvs of Sailor Moon, Madoka or Evangelion. Why am I still surprised how this song proves that all of them fit in a nice little package together?

I love the video. Dang...20 times...thats a lot of work for a great video. there was a couple of clips I've noticed that didn't really fit into the video but to be honest, it was the greatest video ever.

hey this is pretty good. i loved that song but there are some clips and cuts that didnt look like it belonged in this video. but you did very well and the music choice was perfect for sailor moon.
