    I have the comfycush and I totally agree with you on the sole stiffness, they are comfy but in a different way!

    I just got the Pro and it's much much more comfortable than the comfycush, in my opinion.

    I am lookng at getting the comfycush but I am uncertain. I currently have a pair of pro's and I find them very comfortable and I like the duracap element. I also quite like that the pro's have more sole support with the slightly elevated arch as purely flat shoes if wearing them for a long time can damage your shins.
    Overall thanks for the video. I think that I will stick with the pro's. :)

    I know this is late as hell, but my first pair of vans were comfycush old skools, and the insoles aren’t the greatest for skating. i love those shoes, they are comfy for walking and stuff, but definitely not something you’d wanna skate in. i have half cabs and the popcush insoles will do you so much better.

    I honestly prefer the confycush than the others cuz it's the lightest than the others vans.
    I don’t skate but i punish em ’so hard and the upper of all of them last me the same.

    In my opinion comfy Cush last less and are horrible to skate in I recommend pros they last longer and give better board feel

  • @evanlaw3596
    @evanlaw3596 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    With comfy Cush, you need to go one size up because the sole pushes your feet up against the shoe box and makes less room there. It’s not sensible because they need to redesign the shoe box to properly accommodate the new sole as such. The pro with popcush doesn’t make the shoebox space Narrower but it tills and creates a gradient and no longer gives a flat shoe which is bad for skating because it undermines board feel. So Vans needs to think it through properly. It s not so simple

    So when you say the pros are more like a regular tennis shoe does that mean the heel is elevated higher than the front part of the shoe?

  • @Ajisaurus
    @Ajisaurus ปีที่แล้ว

    I think for wide feet and flat its better the comfycush? Because the pro has a slight angle to it?

    Are the navy old skool pro the same color as the navy comfycush? The pros look lighter

  • @Zee.112

    Which one gives more height? Please, can you measure/estimate how tall the sole+insole of the comfycush is? It would really help me out as a short dude.

    • @Zee.112
      @Zee.112 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Tim Thank you so much for the reply friend. This really helped me and I will be probably getting the pro now because I don't do skating, just wearing it casually, and I think pros have best durability out of all them so it saves me money. Also, I have small feet kind of so I think longer toe will be fine maybe. Peace and love to you brother.

  • @danielsp03
    @danielsp03 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Dude, is the Comfycush line really lighter and more comfortable? I heard that this line is super tight on the feet, since the tennis tongue is attached together with an elastic band. So what do you think?

    • @parker_hurley
      @parker_hurley  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They definitely are lighter and have more cushion in the sole, they are tighter on the foot and the sole is pretty stiff when walking. There isn't nearly as much flex in the sole of the shoe compared to the normal ones, I personally like the pros for more overall comfort (the sole is more flexible, but not as cushiony). The comfycush are better if your going to be on your feet all day and are standing still often

    • @danielsp03
      @danielsp03 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@parker_hurley Got it. I'm looking for casual sneakers. Being comfortable and light is nice, but rigid when walking ... This is not cool because I believe that if you walk a long time, it can hurt your feet, right?

  • @alxvlez
    @alxvlez 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Seems like the Comfycush is better walking in while the pro is better for actually skating? Correct me if I’m wrong
