hey geebz, love your videos. i wrote this song and created all of the sound design so i really appreciate that you hear all the details that go into it. cheers and thanks so much for listening!
Trey I'm really curious to know what songs you wrote in terms of the guitar parts. Were you involved with every song guitar wise, or are there songs that strictly Keaton wrote and vice versa were just you wrote all the guitar? Something I'm extremely curious to know, you guys are absolutely incredible and elite in the metalcore scene!
This entire album is a masterpiece in sound design, conveying emotion, musicianship and short-sweet catchy composition. This song actually came out a few months ago along with the album, only the video is new, if you don't get a chance to do so on the channel it'd definitely be more than worth listening to the whole Heavener album in your own time. Album of the year.
Absolutely agree. It is definitely one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time. I recommend eliminating all distractions and listening this album from front to back.
False Meridian is probably one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Almost half a year of the launch of the album and it still feels so fresh. I always am so happy to hear song from them. Saw them live like 2 weeks before the launch and I fell in love. He is capable of singing it live in such great quality for the whole concert. Unbelievable band.
The guitar tones on this album are so great, the ambient high notes are so crystalline and the chug low notes have so much oomph and clarity, and they combine so well together. Love the production on this.
Ever since Stillworld, this band has been my #1. The bands instrumental has always been on top. Adding Marcus with his vocal range was just what they needed. Heavener tops everything in their catalog but Greyview and TSSAIINW are close seconds.
@@HushedDispatch i don't know either, Greyview is incredible and is a perfect modernized version of Stillworld's sound, Heavener is second under Greyview for me but Heavener is definitely more accessible to more people since it is far less technical, Everchanger and Stillworld have something extremely unique about them though
@@HushedDispatch i think the melodies got kind of switched over to Marcus' vocals, since Ben couldn't really do cleans much that well so it was left for the instruments to do on stillworld/everchanger
They're so talented. They've been my favorite band since 2014 and how much progression they've made is crazy. The ethereal tones mixed with the heavy is literally how my brain feels. Makes me tear up how beautiful their music is.
I have been dreaming of the day you did more Invent Animate (or ERRA - Eye of God if you remember me requesting it over the years 😅) and this is by far the best track to have checked out. Still here Geebz, this made my day!
Great timing. Just got into this band a few days ago, searched them on TH-cam and hey you uploaded a video on one of my favorite songs. And hey, I’m still here!
I absolutely believe Marcus Vik is one of the most talented metal vocalists out there right now. Holy freakin shit this chorus is just so perfect and beautiful man words cant describe it.
This has quickly become one of my favorite bands over the past few months. Heavener finally started popping up in my recommendations a few months ago and I am so glad I clicked on it. The album is really solid from start to finish. False Meridian is one of my favorite songs on the album and I am glad they made a video for it. Edit: I forgot one thing. The video cuts off a few seconds from the end of the song that I think bring a beautiful conclusion to the song. Go listen to the regular version and you will know what I mean.
I first heard these guys when they supported ERRA on their EU tour this year. It was insane. I vividly remember hearing this song and Elysium, and just my facial expressions evolving into different levels of shock and pure happiness. My cheeks hurt from grinning by the end of the set. Highly recommend Elysium, Without a Whisper and Shade Astray if you want more!
Found Invent Animate a couple of years ago and saw them live for the first time in July 2022. I've been hooked from the first time I came across them and have been watching them grow into my favorite band today. If anyone hasn't listened to their latest album 'Heavener' I highly recommend giving it a shot. False Meridian is my favorite track off the album with Immolation of Night and Void Surfacing in 2nd and 3rd. All the songs in this album have their own place and sound that can reach a large audience. Also check out their previous albums such as Stillworld and Everchanger. With a different vocalist, Ben English, these albums are absolutely amazing. I've only known Invent Animate having Marcus so I wasn't around for those releases. Some songs i'd check out from both albums are Stillworld: Celestial Floods, Vacant, White Wolf, and Indigo and for Everchanger: Sol, Half-Life, Luna, and Nocturne: Lost Faith. (Again these are my personal favorites and recommendations so if you don't enjoy these tracks that's fine with me lmao).
Another epic review, so glad you have done an invent animate song cover! These dudes are one of my favourite bands for years now. If you have time my good man please do a cover of Oh sleeper, - Pulse over throne or any of their other music. Thanks for the sick breakdown geebz!
Also, I've seen them live and they are every bit as amazing. Seeing them headline and doing VIP with them at the end of next month (with Void of Vision, thrown, and Aviana). 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Geebz honestly Invent animate's last album is one of the most wonderful pieces of music that has ever come out, especially if you love beautiful harmonies. I strongly recommend Emberglow from this album, and as always I'm still here bro!
Their newest album “Heavener” that this song is off is album of the year so far in metalcore. The only album in metal that comes close is Sleep Token but i think Heavener is way better. Check out “Void Surfacing”, “Emberglow”, “Purity Weeps” or “Shade Astray” off this album!
I have really enjoyed this album since it came out. It's amazing from beginning to end. Without A Whisper should be the next song you do. I would love to see you checkout some Berried Alive. They just released 2 new songs. Masterpeach is the heavier, Butterflies is softer. For and o😮lder song Strawberry Serenity is a great starting place. It's just 2 people Charles and Kayley Caswell and they are both absolutely amazing, humble peopl
Respectfully, Couldn’t be farther from the truth. However, it’s understandably easy to dismiss heavy, low tuned music. I implore you to take a look at the lyrics with a more open mind and perhaps think of the influences behind their music
@@EightPenguins I don't give a crap about lyrics. I talk about MUSIC. + I don't dismiss any heavy music at all, I actually prefer it. But not this djent bs, all this bands sounds the same There's NOTHING to this music. Nothing memorable, nothing that induces any kind of emotions inside of you. Just good for head bop and stank face after few drinks 👍🏻

cannot second this comment enough, such an incredible album
Album of the year so far for me too. Front to back - Masterpiece.

Thirding this comment. IA have been one of my fav bands since their inception.
Adding more support. Best band on the planet right now. Can't think of anything that even comes close to topping Heavener this year so far
"Without a Whisper" would be a good one for you (and has a video). Purity weeps and Void Surfacing also personal favorites from this album!
Without a Whisper is probably my favorite Invent, Animate release since their first album.

Such a good song, that middle breakdown is harrowing lol
These guys have probably been my favorite band as of late. With tracks like this track, Dark and Luna. Fantastic stuff!
Luna is a 10/10 song!
