    What a beautiful Anglican church and service. Proudly Episcopal in California

    This is one of my favorite hymns. I want it sung at my funeral. I am disabled. While I try to be grateful in all things, knowing that there are lot of other people worse off than I am but it is still difficult. So when I wake discouraged in the morning, I sing the first verse of this hymn. Thank you for sharing it. I love men and boys choirs so this really encourages my heart.

    I must say I love this hymn we used to sing it at school when I was younger as I studied in school inspired by Church in Ug. Your congregation is dressed decently showing respect to the Most High. The choir and pianist are angelic and the atmosphere full of God’s glory 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

      The organist and the trumpeters are working in harmony. In fact, they are too good.

    I only found one of your posts last week. Then I started looking for more posts and have appreciated each and every one. You all are so special, especially as each of you join the angels with your gift for singing. Also your organist is fabulous. I've traveled to many places around world and been in many churches. So I have heard many organists.playing in many different places. so please tell your Organist how excellent hw is.
    both with hymns and.hiis prelude and posture
    THANK YOU ALL.. BLESSINGS

      Thank you so very much Ms. Bell, for your kind and encouraging words. Yes, this choir is very special. A great deal of hard work and dedication is responsible for the high standard we enjoy today. There is continuous training all year with the Cathedral bringing in experts from the UK to work with the choir. The organists are also high achievers. Two of the five organists in the Cathedral, including the Master of the Music, studied organ in the UK. One of the other three is currently studying organ performance in the USA. We thank God for the dedication and commitment of every member of the choir. Please keep watching this channel and LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE in case you haven't already done so. God bless you richly.

    but why use organs in the church when the New Testament does not? It says to sing not play

    • @tundeosho196
      @tundeosho196  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Old Testament is still as relevant as the New Testament. So, we cannot reject that part of the Bible. The two sections work hand in hand. God bless you.

      OK so you practice Circumcision, Tithing, observe the Sabbath, & have animal sacrifices then? You cannot pick & choose from the Old Testament whatever fits your desires. Its all or nothing. The Old covenant was nailed to the cross.

      @@darrinklice7753 you have made absolutely no sense. And you deserve no response or explanation on why organs are used. Do whatever pleases you but you have no damn right to tell us how to worship God. None whatsoever. We can play, we can sing, we can play and sing, we can dance, as long as it is done in truth and spirit. I dont expect you to relate to what I said above though

      @@ugonnalarry7242 Speak where the bible speaks & be silent where it is silent. It says to Sing in the New testament. Not play. Your problem is with God not. me.. Might want to check your temper too.

      @@darrinklice7753 I do not have any problem with God. None whatsoever. I play the keyboard and organ too and some of my most deepest connections to God in worship are times when I played hymns or songs. No issue with my temperament. Believe whatever you want, But you cannot stop organ worship. In rev 14 Vs 12, it clearly mentioned where harps were being played in heaven. Maybe that is old testament. You might as well throw out the entire book of Psalms where it was instructed that we praise God with loud organs, with the trumpet, with the lute and harp. Even Jesus himself in the new testament quoted some Old testament scriptures. in the temple, he read the book of Esias. Do not turn the bible upside down and teach what you do not understand. Like I said earlier, You cannot stop instrumental worship. Sing all you want, allow us to sing and play. you are not God
