My upcoming weekend project. Just had a new sink put in, new base cabinet, and premade Formica counter top. Love the sink, HATE the counter top. Mussel Bound, tile float, slate tiles, and dark grey mortar will be down soon. Years, and years, and years of CRAFTING has turned out to be in my favor. Learned that much of my crafting experience can transfer to renovating my house. Learning to use a circular saw last year saved me thousands of dollars in carpentry fees and has made me very happy. Very frustrated at times, exhausted, but in the end it was worth it. P.S……Lowes is $15 cheaper than Amazon for the same Muscle Bound product.
😄 we did ours. Works good. Still haven't grouted been on there for 3 weeks we did stove side september looks good still. People unsure but follow the instructions let tile dry if use wet saw then stick to the wall.
@@sdotdiy .........you stuck the profile's anchoring leg to the mat and then you applied a strip of the mat over the anchoring leg to secure the overlapping edge of the tile?
@@sdotdiygood to hear, first saw it on a short, and had bad comments about it but both came from people who does tile for a living. I had seen so called professionals done an awful job. So really want to do it myself instead of hiring and paid for something I hate. After hiring someone to paint the outside of our column and not even a year later paint starts to chip off. I don’t want to hire anymore contractors to do anything I will just watch TH-cam and do it myself. For what I paid them I could just buy all the tools and do it myself. Thanks for taking your time and do this video to save the common people money.
Would this hold up a ceramic in wall soap dish? I stepped on mine and it came off. I have tried to put it back but nothing si far I've tried works😫I thought the *Locktite Power Grab Ultimate* & *Gorilla Glue Max Strength Construction Adhesive* would work but they didn't. A guy told me to use tile adhesives .Will this do the trick?
@sdotdiy My soap dish is the typical in wall/over the tub ceramic soap dish of most (older) homes & apartments. Will this stuff hold up to the moisture of a bathroom?
I appreciated this review more than any of the others I watched!!! 😊
Thank you so much. Hope it really helps. Great product.
Literally the only vid I could find regarding spacers, thanks!
Hahaha no problem man

I love those kind of projects tho for sure. Def shop around for the best price but it works very well
@@sdotdiy this is a great product. Easy to use, even for a 71 year old woman! So glad I took the leap of faith in myself and the product. Cheers!
Awesome video. Does anyone know if this will work for brushed marble?
Thank you and I don’t see why not

You tiles over tile? If you did that is my dream that’s exactly what I want to do
I sure did. That’s what the product is for :)
@@sdotdiy Can the product also be used over painted wall? Thanks for the video :)

Is it just a soap dish (out of shower)

Can i use this on cardboard?
I don’t see why not 👍
You think I can do it in my bathroom shower
I think you can do it, but I would not do it. Unless it’s not shower/ bathroom related.
@@sdotdiy appreciate your honesty. I had a feeling too.
@sdotdiy Why? Is it not waterproof?
✔️Nice!💯
Thank you
