Jin’s a doctor who saves the lives of others (unlike HYYH where he’s trying to save everyone but can’t).
Hobi is a race car driver who lives for the adrenaline rush (instead of constantly being tired and narcoleptic).
Taehyung is a detective who can investigate and stop domestic violence (like he suffered from).
Jungkook is a police officer, who can stop thugs from beating others up and as a first responder he can also help to prevent suicides (like his own tragic past).
Namjoon is is wearing a uniform which makes other people respect him (unlike his gas station job where people treated him terribly).
Yoongi is in a military/fire marshal uniform which shows his dedication to safety and protecting others.
And Jimin is working a normal office job, instead of being stuck in a mental hospital wasting away. He’s drowning in paperwork instead of well, actually drowning.

Okay my theory is jin is a time traveler and goes back to save all the members throughout the video! Remember that short pause in I need you when jin stared at the camera hella shook? That's when he saw the future of what's gonna happen. All jin's actions had the butterfly effect, for example, he seen Suga in the burning house in one scene and the next scene Jung look was saving him. He also saved Tae from jumping into the water because he stabbed someone and wanted to kill himself which is why Tae was staring at jin really weird at the end. Tae senced something to be a bit strange and memorable. JIMIN wanted to drown in the bathtub but jin saved him so that's why in the next scene he's sitting on the bathroom floor. There would have been an blow up at the gas station RM was at but jin saved him too. JIMIN was later in the hospital and all of the members visited him because it was his birthday. All the members lived so that's how euphoria was created! They were all happy together and everyone was alive! Jin changing everything is why he smiled at the end, he saved them. At the VERY end of the video Jung kook got hit by a car instead of the girl that would have in the love yourself video. All there actions had aftermath so that's why I think kookie dies at the very end:(

Chim and Jhope: both mentally unstable. Jhope has depression and was taking too much pills. Hobi has this memory about his mom that's why he had the song MAMA and in the end of the first highlight reel, when he closed his eyes and was about to blow the candles, he remembered how his mom left him. Jimin was enveloped in the sweetness called Lie. He thought he was happy and all but in reality, he was inside the mental hospital. You can also refer to Serendipity for that. The both of them are sent to the mental hospital. There, they met each other.
RM and V: V has a sister whom he protects and it was the one who had a rubber band tied on her hair. V killed his dad and was vandalizing (spraying paint on the walls with the girl). He got caught in the highlight reel right? He was imprisoned I guess. So RM decided to watch over the girl (Tae's sister) with all he can. That's why it seems like he was stalking the girl. Rm does this since Taehyung asked help in tge poster you'll see the word I'm fine (opposite save me).
Yoongi and Jk: These two are close somehow because of their love for piano. In highlight reel you can see that the both of them are sititng infront of the piank with Jungkook singing and Yoongi playing. When Jk was hit Bu the car, he lost all his memories. When he saw the White lighter on the girl playing the guitar, he remembered all his memories with Yoongi. Prior to that, Yoongi blamed himself for not being able to help JK nor stop him.
And lastly, Jin.
Jin was trying to watch all of them. He's the glue to be exact. But he failed to fulfill this task and made a deal with the devil in BST to travel back though time. Now in Euphoria he tries to stop what had happened int he past and reverse it.

So basically bts cant survive without eachother. Without Jimin, Jhope wouldn't have gotten out of the hospital when he hit his head. Without the rest of the members, Jimin would have drowned himself in his bathtub after being stuck in there for years. Without Jungkook, Suga would have died in the fire. And without V, Jungkook would have died jumping off the building. V would have ended up in prison if Suga didnt stop him from killing his dad. And Rm, would have still been in jail if jin didnt go see him before the fight broke out. When Jin left his members at the beach so V wouldnt jump, they weren't together anymore which also leads to Jungkook getting hit by a car. There were also other who helped them get through this. My theory is that the other people he help them get through this symbolized army. If it were just the members they wouldnt have finished this. And if it were just the other people, they wouldnt have gotten through it. I think this was meant to portray how bts and armys need to rely on eachother and focus on the positive things. There was a boy who Jimin witnessed get killed which made him insane/traumatized. Not much is said about the boy but we know his last name was choi. There is a possibility that the boy was Choi Yeonjun. Though txt just debuted last year, Yeonjun was training for 5-6 years which is around the time where this takes place. This leading him to be the most likely out of the members to be this choi. I havent quite figured out how him being killed fits in and carries along the plot if it was Yeonjun. Then we move on the dynamite. I think this song was to show how once they are back together they learn to live life to it's fullest. They share their most happy moments when they are all together instead of separated which is when the most tragedies occur. This portrays how they are living in the moment, and just enjoying life. And then last, but of course not least. We have: Life goes on. I think this one is about how even though everything already happened, life still goes on so they have to move on with their lives instead of dwelling on the past. The members are seen in their bedroom, just being theirself and having fun. Normally they will be on a set filming so I think them being in their bedroom portrays how they arent trying to be professional or living up to others expectations anymore. Since they are together, they are more carefree and are here just to live their lives. Im not sure about the rest but this is just my theory.
So basically... It's done? They're back together and found happiness again? It's done. It's done..

This is my theory after watching the entire video.
The boys in HYYH were all young and reckless and they made mistakes and did wrong stuff that they had to suffer for, and jin was filming them. Then in forever young, it showed that they regretted them and kept on hurting themselves. In wings, they all decided to change themselves like the new pairing of members through the logo of the album, and trying to find out answers to their questions and jin observing everything and knowing things the others didnt know. In love yourself- her , the boys distanced themselves from the others and they found love but they weren't able to forget the other members because there were flashbacks of the times that they had spent together like in HYYH, but the love ended up hurting them because all the girls left and after a gap of the pairing (jungkook, suga) (V, RM) (jhope, jimin) in the wings album, in the highlight reels they are united again, or atleast there are hints, but jimin seems the one who feels the most miserable because he made jhope unhappy by hurting that girl so he kind of goes in a depression and then serendipity shows where he is like in his own world, and in the highlight reels it seems like jin now wants to go back in time to the HYYH time period and reverse all the things that happen so that the members dont hurt anymore. So, in wonder euphoria we've seen that he does do it, the events begin to change. And i think the album wonder starts with jin throwing the camera in the water as a symbol of maybe erasing all that has happened and the album will probably tell us that changing the past will probably make matters worse.
I hope i make any sense to all of you, because even though I've seen these videos so many times, watchinh them from scratch to the latest one in one go made things a bit clearer.

Well here's another theory.....
This album and the discography of BTS is about the interpretation of Demian(Herman Hesse) the path to love yourself and accept your defects, this is about the archetypes:jungkook as the persona and taehyung as the shadow;
The rest of the members excep of jin who is protagonist and the "real one" are just thoughts and parts of himself,nam as the ambition,jimin transitions,yoongi the guide and the individualism fire too and hoseok as addictions;
The first short film is about how jungkook meet the darkness within himself and in the world,he is the representation of the inoccence and the face everyone show to everyone, the part who socially is accepted,as he starts to knows these darkness and began to relationate with it he began to do "bad" things and meet other part of himself,this is how all *begins* also the painting is a mix of all the members but that's more of a spoiler and a reference to the book when Sinclair tried to paint Béatrice and ended up painting Demian and his mom even himself (the painting changed from time to time);
The second short film is lie,in this jimin represent a transition and water,he is in the subconscious of jin,the painting a representation of his family ,and the persona archetype the camera as "kromer"(the guy in the book who make him to swear his *lies* at God eyes" )is the pressure of the shadow archetype to the persona archetype,the card is the petition of swear that lie,he feels really guilty and desperate he dosent know how to act,at the end of this short film he points the camera to the paint saying he's not the same and now his a little bit like kromer,he made the transition through water.
Stigma...taehyung short film,Is the peak of the phase of darkness and a mix of inoccence,jin "gives up" consciously and uncounciously to this archetype,I interpreted as jin notice this archetype (shadow) and block this part of himself, obviously because is the part that no one likes a part that you don't accept,he tries to ask for help doing the call but never gets an answer,that's how jin block him and tries to act like Taehyung(shadow) its not a part of himself, locking tae in a cage all because Shadow is the most *stigmatized* archetype;
On yoongis short film there's a connection with jungkooks short film in these two there's a singular whistle,this whistle is a signal of danger or that something bad is gonna happen ,in the book this whistle is from kromer he has this singular whistle that everyone knows including Sinclair (protagonist of Demian) when he hears it he knows kromer is near and has to go with him (if you read the book you will know why) but is for something bad,....yoongi is the guide jin need to be on the right track,he only sees for his good will and doesn't care about anything but himself (individualism),he's the one who help the persona archetype,the one who make jungkook critique and analize things differently that's what a guide do,we have to know the short films are part dreams and part real,there's a lot of symbols,yoongi's symbol are fire that's why he appears many times close with it,and kooks the petals,he tries to help him but the transition was made(jimin symbol is water the transition)that's why we see that bathtub we see it in jimin short film that transition,the guide arrives to help,the reason on why is called *first love* is maybe because in the book Demian became Sinclair first love the first who make him analyze, critique and doubt his surroundings;
Reflection,here namjoon feels guilty and sad because of all the bad things his(or jin) decisions that haven't helped at all,that's why he's surrounded by alcohol ,he sees the draw of the bird (that appears on begin too)and decide to tattoo it as a reminder of a change to be done,these bird represent the path to Abraxas (Abraxas appear in many occasions around the short films like at the beginning of stigma and nearly end of awake)the path of individualism,this remainder represent the ambition and self love,this would be something good but he's not on the right track jin have a bad ambition and a wrong idea of self esteem a fake one(like in the song of fake love),that's why he abolish his shadow archetype he thinks is the better solution, suppress tae(shadow) and become fully kook(persona)the mirrios breaking are the representation of the individualism he tries to reach of that "perfect self" imaginary, and how much he hate his real self he doesnt like his *reflection* ,when he woke up he saw something written "You have to survive" this could be the guide or other part of jin trying to make him realize what is he doing and what he needs to do,then he heard the phone ringing (the same one on tae short film)the dark part of himself (tae) the shadow archetype who is the most *stigmatized* is trying to ask for help,the ambitious part of himself (namjoon) tries to answer but jin block that access to the shadow because he's so obsessed with being "perfect" , namjoon gives up and began to say "I wish I could love myself"as a way of telling us that he knows something is missing;
Hoseok short films is about the bad addictions jin had and how he change them,in the book Sinclair began to drink a lot but when he sees Beatrice and fell in love with her he tries to change those bad addictions by something more healthy like painting,here in hoseok short film he change that addiction to eat chocolate (yes big hit uses an sponsor as something phylosopic XD)hes trying to rehab ,when hoseok wakes up and see through the door he sees the painting ,he's giving a look to his family the archetype persona the one who jin unconsciously move far away more than he account,the painting of the mother and the child represent the archetype anima (psyche fememine on the psyche masculine)one who tries to unify, she's the one who makes him to change too that's why that short films is called *mama* ;
The last one ,jin's short film, is a summarize,a recapitulation of what we saw through the six short films by symbols and the begining of the right path to Abraxas (his real self and self love),his sounded by symbols,the apple of sin in jimin short film,the camera that is pressure of the shadow archetype to the persona archetype,flowers that represent jungkook who represent inoccence and the persona archetype too, when the petals burn is a signal of how yoongi (who is the guide)meets jungkook to help,yoongi's symbol is fire,jin seems sick and saw distorted images representing his contempt to tae who is the shadow archetype but also he sees those stuff because of long he tried to repress him,did anyone notice the wardrobe that has chaines?that's a représentation of Jin blocking tae,his reflection with water namjoon symbol is mirrors and jimin's water and transitions these two unify meaning a change has finally arrived giving jin the right *awaken* ,the rest of the elements in the video are calls form Abraxas,now he's on the right track, Abraxas Is even on the wallpaper and in the painting.....

This short films beside of telling something about themselves they are telling an story,they are characters ,it's not supposed to be seemed as real but dreams and part of the story,(the book of Demian)its an interpretation,jin is not trying to save everyone but himself (that's what individualism means) in the story,as he save himself and finds the right path he saves everyone else and unify them,there's even more references to the book through all the Shortfilm like the bird in the message,some scenarios like the hospital in lie,parts of the book that namjoon says in those blackout moments,abraxzas appear in the graffiti in stigma etc,the short films are connected having more depper meanings but this comment would be even longer so..... sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
And image all the simbology blood sweat and tears and spring break has⚆ _ ⚆this era is like basically what you shouldn't do to love yourself but at the same time shows how easy is to make mistakes and those mistakes are valuable to grown and learn and the paths you can take that's why they have albums like love yourself or love yourself tear.(more recently the album Map of the soul uuff that album is something else(´ε｀ ) but that's for another comment)

I am crying right now because one day, a few years from now, we may look back to a video like this, of everything together, and listen to the songs again after so long and try to remember what the lyrics meant, seeing all of them again, and seeing this whole story they created from day 1 so that in the end it could teach us something valuable and important in life. This story is something BTS and ARMY went through together. We would remember the times when we would watch and be fascinated by the whole MV and how we used the have so much fun trying to figure out how it all fit together. We would remember how excited we would get for a comeback, how confused yet joyful we were to hear our fellow ARMY's theories and have some of our own. And how we would joke for Bighit to just tell us what it all meant, but secretly never wanting it to end for the fear of when the story's over it will take BTS with it too. These have truly been the most beautiful, joyful, and greatest moments I've ever had. How I wish it would never end. But I will forever love this time of my life because BTS and ARMY have given me so many good things. Love, passion, support, wisdom, happiness I have gotten and continue getting all of it and I will never be grateful or happy enough that I found it at my darkest, lowest moment. I was ready to end it all. In fact before I met them I had made a promise to myself that if things didn't get better by the time I went back to school then there was no reason to keep living because my life was so bad and I had problems here and there and I felt trapped in the dark with no way out, but then after so many nights of having a breakdown and crying myself to sleep or getting no sleep, I found them. I found all of this and that was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Although things are gradually getting worse, life is better. I now have something to bring me happiness and hope. I have something to sustain me and make me laugh and happy even in the worse of times. I have made things better for myself, by finding a part of me and accepting it fully. I know who I want to be and I appreciate the little things in life a lot more now. I finally see warm light in the dark room. Sorry for the ramble this was honestly just for my own pleasure of spilling everything out.

it feels like a movie. i wish they’ll do a concept like this in their future works. its sad that not many people pay attention to these details and just watch the mv as “something cool” and move on :( its much more than that, especially when you see the continuation of the story or the plot in each mv/album, they are just so creative. this is why hyyh era still remains close to my heart and it always will ;)

OMG, this is a masterpiece..... The storyline is very, very beautiful from beginning to end, especially the common things that make me amazed and give meaning to all the videos I saw.
All of this left me speechless. I don't think anyone has or will create a masterpiece like this. It took years to finish( I wish it hadn'), but this was a work worthy of appreciation. I hope there will be many people or ARMYs who will find out and piece everything together when they watch all this.... I feel bad and sympathize for Jin because he feels pain every time he goes back in time to save the members, but all the credit goes to him because he saved his members.......... thank you BTS for this amazing story.

When I first learned about this storyline, I was captivated by the Yoongi and Jungkook relationship.
But now as an adult I can’t stop thinking about the most subtle dynamic between Taehyung and Namjoon. The breakdown of communication. The needing of someone who wasn’t there for you, metaphorically didn’t answer the call. While internally hating themselves (liar). V’s short film shows him alone in scenes that parallel MVs in which he’s with Namjoon, showing the breakdown of a relationship.
Anyone who has been there will feel it even though it’s the most quiet in these videos. You can feel Taehyung’s pain and Namjoon’s fear closing him off from being there emotionally.
The quotes speak to their fears and desire to be loved for who they are. Army, let’s do that no matter what. 💜
