Sabu is an anomaly , he’s so many things , under appreciated, celebrated , old school , cutting edge, hardcore , legit great worker , high flyer , innovator, ‘crazy man’. He is a very honest person from what I see in interviews . He may not have the money he deserves but he did it his way & for that he can be proud . I hope he gets his last match and I hope it’s a phenomenal payday and a fitting send off for his career . Truly on of my all time favourite wrestlers
saw sabu at a indy (small) show in 2000 when he was in his prime and it was a snowstorm and he still made the drive to Canada and he put on a crazy match as if there was 20k in attendance. everyone was worried he wouldnt make it and he arrived during the card lol and put on a crazy match. such a legend!
Sabu one of the goats. James one of the goats with these interviews and the way he conducts himself is respectful, knowledgeable and patient. Awesome stuff. Always a good time listening to these interviews
James, first of all, you are rocking with the content. I admire your hustle as I am looking to start a similar channel down the line. Regarding Sabu, I attended a few events with him performing including ECW ONS, 2005 and an Extreme Rising event in Queens. My favorite memory of Sabu was how loving he was to his little dog at the event. He was sitting close to me in the audience after his match, and I did not want to disturb him after working, but seeing him with his dog told me everything about the human being.
ive watched multiple SABU shoots ... hes always like this ... gives quick short answers with almost no details ...just runs through them fast af like hes answering for speed to win on the Family Feud tv game show .... SURVEY SAYS !!! 😂
It's cause he was brought up too not tell these things and to kayfabe everything. The business has changed and so has he but he's still only going to answer the questions the way he wants.... He probably hates doing this stuff but has a good relationship with the podcaster... Same as the others. SABU 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
He is hyperintelligent and always has been so he talks like that anyway, obviously his career style and all that comes with it has took its toll. What a great human being though
I saw him and Rhino at an indie in Wyandotte a few years ago. He was in bad shape but still trying. It made me glad i got to see him in his prime, it was him vs Simon Diamond at Maxpro Wrestling. He's the best high flyer in my view.
i've seen many Sabu interviews and i really liked this one i cant even tell you why maybe he just seemed like he was in a good mood. Awesome job to both guys. i loved the Saturn cameo in the back there is always good to see him even if its for 4 frames.
Thank you for this James, sabu is the most underrated wrestler of all time man does not get enough respect and recognition that he deserves. Just got done setting up a fig of him lol ☝🏽 love ya terry Brunk.
Sabu might not remember, but he was on the show with Owen, it was Autumn Armageddon, at the civic center in philly! The rope broke during Owens match..... I was selling T shirts for Steve(Joels booker/helper)
Saw his uncle, the original Sheik, at the Ironton Armory in Ironton, OH back in 1975. We didn't get wrestling on TV back then except an occasional pro wrestling spot on ABC's Wide World of Sports so I didn't know anyone on the card but somehow I knew about the Sheik. It was a small venue packed out. I don't remember the undercard matches but the Sheik drew blood on his opponent in the main event and the place went nuts. Sheik left his opponent laying who eventually got up, put a folding chair in the ring and had the crowd clapping and stomping for the Sheik to return and he sat down in the chair in the middle of the ring, saying he wasn't going to get up until the Sheik returned. Good times.
Sabu sounds very nasally here. He sounds different in more ways than just one. He should fight ric flair in a 60 min iron man match, esp since sabu hates flair for not shaking his hand in the locker room.

Love sabu doesn't get enough praise.

Those of us who know how bad the man was is enough. Let the phonies stay oblivious 🫡
He’s the only guy to appear in every major wrestling promotion.
Sabu one of the goats. James one of the goats with these interviews and the way he conducts himself is respectful, knowledgeable and patient. Awesome stuff. Always a good time listening to these interviews
I remember Sabu messaged me one time on FB, telling me he had shirts for sale. I bought 2

When he does expand on his answers, he usually gives great little nuggets of info

Dude put body and brain on the line for the fans. If you went through what's he's been through your be the same way.
He is hyperintelligent and always has been so he talks like that anyway, obviously his career style and all that comes with it has took its toll. What a great human being though

More workout questions from your guests, very informative
one of the best to ever be in a ring

James ty for the interview with sabu
I live in Vegas as well as Sabu I actually picked him up a couple months ago and dropped them off at his house I sometimes see him at the nerd bar
One more match!
My favorite part is when he said he doesn’t care if it’s fake or not he likes winning.
Still my favorite.
SABU SABU SABU
☝🏽
Sabu action figure must come with crazy glue... 😂
Wish you asked him about Steve Corino.
I love Steve Corino. Old school badass. Stand out.
Sabu you threw the Coffee table
If Sabu wants to have a match against someone who also is wrestling their last match, may I suggest Kevin Owens
Sabu ruuules!
lol sabu ai
I'll buy Sabus last match PPV!😝
I would be willing to work him FOR his last match. HELLAWARE ASSASSIN vs SABU
Not sure why he'd be doing a couple of matches to get a highlight reel for Nitro two years before Nitro even debuted..
We hope you downed pizza and burgers for that 20lbs we want that last match!!!!!
what was his answer for worst hotel? great interview btw
Of course S*itstain probably didn't even know who Sabu was.
🤘🤘🤘
Where did this interview take place with Terry AKA sabu
Sabu sounds very nasally here. He sounds different in more ways than just one. He should fight ric flair in a 60 min iron man match, esp since sabu hates flair for not shaking his hand in the locker room.
Close your eyes and it’s like Mickey rourke is talking imo.
☝️☝️
Coleman got stem cells and can in fact walk now

He deserves a retirement match in WWE against a WWE star
