OK...coolest clip was the CVPI with the rotating beacons coming out of the parking lot. Looks like it was about an 2001 or 2002 (based on the front seat headrest). And I dont know how LAPD managed to do it, but their slick top Taurus looks pretty damned cool!
@@Hyp3blox those are full wheel covers. what is under them are the old style deep 16" wheel. Also this one is a 2002. made 03/13/2002

I love how the LAPD still has so many older vehicles. those 2014 explorers, the old chargers, and the CVPI. so sick.
That Crown Vic at 04:50 is a relic. Thats gotta be like an 2001-2002 model. 22 years old and still in service. That car has had a longer service life then some actual cops I know.

Still in service. LAPD loves crown Victorias and their old units. They’ll keep and use them forever. Pretty sure their oldest unit is a late 90’s Tahoe if I’m not mistaken.
@Hy3dCanadianRoblox The one I saw was a Tahoe or suburban. It was a late 90’s model like a 98’ or even 2000’. Still had the old MX7000 rotator, unitrol, and everything.
@@LS3_Jaden The one on the 6th bridge? 1999 Tahoe. They also still got some 1999 Vic in service (I know because it has those stripe grill instead of the honeycomb). Both rarely used and probably only came out once a while, probably an event or so.

Surprised that LAPD still have their Crown Vic in service. Multiple Agencies across the United States and Canada have retired the CVPI and opted for the Explorer or Police Utility vehicles, such as CHP.

4:35 you don't have that clip apart, it's awesome, an almost 20 year old Crown Vic P71 and a brand new Police Interceptor Utility responding together. Besides I love the sounds of the tires when the explorer takes the corner. Greetings.
Car was made 03/13/2002 so it is 21 years old.
