Agar question mein likha ho sample absorbs 10 percent of incident light to hume transmission 90 percent aise likhke T ki value 0.90 leke fir absorbance nikalna padta hai par agar pehle hi bataya ho ki 10 percent light absorb kari hai to hum absorbance 0.10 kyon nahi lete??

Because we use liq N2, and it exist as liquid at temp below -78°C. Also LDA is very strong base, it can only be added to the reaction mixture at a very low temp, otherwise it can be hazardous. That's why we use this temp. Because we use such a low temp, we call LDA kinetic base.
