What are your favorite logos from FHE? Mine would be every logo from FHE, the 2nd logo from FHE Kids, and the logo from the Australian FHE (not related to the American one).
Here my opinion: For the first the division, I like 3rd and 5th logo. 1st and 2nd were decent. The 4th ones? Nah I didn't like it because no sound equals no rate. For the second division, the 1st logo is just, no sound equal no rate. The 2nd is decent. For the third division, the 1st logo is similar to FHE 4th logo and FHE Theatre 1st logo, no sound equals no rate. The 2nd logo is kinda dope. And the Australian FHE, why some Australian company like to name that are exist on United States? I mean just look at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the acronym is "ABC" and there a similar acronym on the US. That's I can rate for the logos. Also, I remember seeing a parody version of FHE 1st logo on the No. Entertainment TH-cam channel.
Seeing the 3rd Family Home Entertainment Logo makes me nostalgic because it’s actually my favorite one & the music for it makes it more memorable. I thought all three of the logos from Family Home Entertainment where playing the same Da Da Da in their own ways. I grew up with Family Home Entertainment Kids it reminds me of watching Kipper the Dog & seeing this logo before it started made me so happy as a kid. That Dog is so cute though! It’s also interesting seeing Family Home Entertainment having different divisions.
The 3rd logo from F.H.E has great CGI for 1991, and the F.H.E Kids logo is very kid-friendly to all children. I remember Kipper the Dog, especially some of the books.
1st logo: It's not good. I don't really know anything with this logo besides Gumby, Inspector Gadget, & maybe a few other early-80's franchises' early releases. 2nd logo: Actually really good. Best remembered from Rankin/Bass specials, 1970's Chuck Jones specials, Pound Puppies, and Maple Town. Also Ninja Turtles, this and the 3rd logo are never mentioned without mentioning TMNT at least once. 3rd logo: Best logo. *The Tale of Peter Rabbit 1991 FTW!* 4th logo: Okay logo. I believe this was on the early Kipper tapes. 5th logo: Really good logo. Barbie in The Nutcracker, Barbie in Swan Lake, and *"Greetings. Because of your extraordinary abilities, you have been chosen to take part in the World Race."* all come to my mind. FHE Kids: The one I remember the most from my childhood. Mostly from Clifford the Big Red Dog & Clifford's Puppy Days. Also those early Kipper tapes. FHE Pictures: Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. The first movie I ever saw in theaters. FHE Australia: Apparently, they distributed Hi-Tops & Fisher-Price titles. So, I guess Charlie Brown? I'd have to look at which Hi-Tops titles got distributed by FHE over there and which ones didn't.
The 2nd F.h.e. logo a.k.a. The Cheese Colored Pad was taken from VHS releases of shows such as The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Inspector Gadget, Shazam!, Amigo and Friends, The Charmkins, Thundercats, Jem, Potato Head Kids, Pound Puppies, Teen Wolf, Galaxy High School, Defenders of the Earth, The Adventures of Ultraman, The Adventures of the Little Koala, The World of David the Gnome, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Babar, Star Fairies, Mad Scientist, some Rankin-Bass video releases of the time like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, A Very Merry Cricket, Here Comes Peter Cottontail, the Chuck Jones releases of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, Mowgli's Brothers, and The White Seal, a few Japanese anime tapes like Robotech or some tapes of British cartoons like Wil Cwac Cwac and Roobarb, and the Australian Dot cartoons should have this logo, too. The variant without the "WHOOSH!" at the end can be spotted on several Robotech releases from 1987, as well as The World of Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Shortcake and the Baby Without a Name, Strawberry Shortcake Meets the Berrykins, Strawberry Shortcake: Housewarning Surprise, Strawberry Shortcake In Big Apple City, Strawberry Shortcake Pets on Parade, Yankee Doodle Cricket, Fairies, Mouse on the Mayflower, Mr. & Mrs. Condor, The Glacier Fox, Mr. Rossi's Vacation, The Incredible Voyage of Stingray, Sports Cartoons, The Velveteen Rabbit, The Railway Dragon, The Wild Puffalumps, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Mad Scientist, A Family Circus Christmas, A Special Valentine With The Family Circus, A Family Circus Easter, A Death Bear Scare, Les Miserables, Dot and the Koala, Animalympics, For Better or Worse: The Bestest Present, The Red Shoes, Adventures in Dinosaurland, The Gift of Winter, The Story of the Dancing Frog, Paul McCartney's Rupert and the Frog Song, Epic: Days of the Dinosaurs, No Man's Valley, Fireman Sam, The Teddy Bears' Picnic and Babar: The Movie from 1989, and the Classic Tales Collection series, and others. Also seen on later Gumby, Care Bears, and Lassie's Rescue Rangers VHS releases and TubiTV print of The Bear Who Slept Through Christmas. The 3rd f.h.e. logo a.k.a. CGI Paintbrush was taken from later Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tapes, Babar, The Video Adventures of Clifford the Big Red Dog, Speed Racer, The New Adventures of Speed Racer, Bucky O' Hare, Robotech, Stone Protectors, Hello Kitty, Littlest Pet Shop, Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders, Skysurfer Strike Force, Highlander: The Animated Series, Flash Gordon, The VHS release of The Transformers: Five Faces of Darkness and G.I. Joe: Arise, Serpentor, Arise!, Clifford's Fun With Letters, the original release of Tom and Jerry: The Movie, many releases by Rankin-Bass specials such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Here Comes Peter Cottontail, The Rudolph, Frosty & Friends Sing-Along, and Lacewood Productions specials by FHE, Phantom 2040: The Animated Movie, Highlander: The Adventure Begins - The Animated Movie, Flash Gordon: Marooned on Mongo: The Animated Movie, Bruno the Kid: The Animated Movie, The Animated Adventures of Tom Sawyer, later re-releases of The Adventures of the Little Koala.
Awesome logo history of Family Home Entertainment, Jonty! My favourite logo from FHE would be the 3rd logo, because the music is really nice, and the animation of the brush tool painting the logo is creative and satisfying to watch. And yes, you ALL knew that the worst logo from FHE would be the 1st logo. The animation is really horrible, the "music", if you can call that, is annoying as hell, and the colour scheme of the logo is absolutely ugly-looking. The 2nd logo is also cheesy and could creep the living daylights out of children, but you gotta admit: it's much better than they had before. Nevertheless, great logo history, and let's hope that the next logo history will have some good logos!
Thanks, Man! The 3rd logo is beautiful. The CGI is amazing for the early nineties. The paintbrush model reminds me of Art Attack. The 1st logo is...strange, to say the least. The animation isn't that had, but the music is the weirdest in the logo. It sounds like a window wiper. Other than that, I quite like it, especially the "Prevues" variant. The 2nd logo is a breath of fresh air from the first logo. I like the way there is a synth chord every time a letter is drawn. I disagree with the fact that it's cheesy. It's not cheesy, in my opinion. But if you think it's cheesy I respect your opinion. Other than that, thank you for watching! Stay tuned for my logo history on King Features!
@@LovelyYT like it won some kind of award? Judging by your comment the wording suggests this is what you’re saying which doesn’t derive from your point. Even so, you meant to type one*
The first logo's animation is kinda wasteful imo. Not only bc of the pointlessness of the purple "fizzy sun" thing, but also when the logo is very briefly colorized only to turn all white, it's kinda dull. I don't mind the color scheme though, especially since I'm an artist. Pink and brown are even uglier.
My favorite logos are definitely the 2nd (chalkboard) and 3rd (paintbrush) logos. Although I was born in the paintbrush logo era, I remember seeing the chalkboard logo on old VHS tapes I was shown at school in the early 2000s. Here's my opinion of each logo: 1st - Definitely, by far, the worst logo in FHE history. Ugly color scheme, unsettling-looking letters. Definitely could be scary to children. The music sounds like random beeps in the first half and is oddly creepy in the second. It would have been badly outdated by 1983-1985 standards, in the earlier part of its run (1981-1982) it still was verging on outdated. It looks more like a logo from 1977 than the 1980s. What baffles me is why they brought it back in 1987! They had a far better logo by then. 2nd - This logo actually looks its age, the beginning bit of the music especially screams '80s. Beyond that, it actually does have a friendly vibe, in a now-outdated, '80s sort of way. Definitely reminds me of an old-style school. 3rd - Impressive animation, calm music, and great use of color! Ahead of its time for 1991. 4th and 5th - Boring. As an aside, when I first heard about FHE history, I thought the 2nd logo was used from 1983-1993 and the 3rd from 1993-1999. The 3rd logo certainly seems more like a 1993-introduced logo than one from '91, but I'll believe '91. I'm still not entirely sure that the 2nd logo didn't exist in 1983 or 1984, though. Part of me still thinks that the 2nd logo ran from 1983-1991. May 20, 2022 5:03 am

The 1st logo... The sound effect is absolutely annoying. And what the heck is that scribbly-like star animation that just zooms in??? I can't even stand it... It is one of the absolute worst I've ever seen. The 2nd logo. I love the music behind it, but may scare you when it's too loud (so does the sound and visual effects) The 3rd logo. It looks pretty, and it's definitely not as scary as the previous logo. Really nice logo The 4th logo. Plain and boring, but the shining effect on "Family Home Entertainment" does stand out, and it's nice The 5th logo. Also a really nice logo. The beginning may scare you though.

2nd Logo

3rd Logo
Both the 1985 and 1991 logos. The 1985 logo was the very first one I ever saw as a kid.
The 1981 logo's okay, probably my least favorite.
The second logo takes me back to 1995-6 watching my TMNT tapes as a kid
It can even be seen on the Clifford VHS tapes and the original Home Video release of The Transformers The Movie 1986
Yep, it was the old TMNT tapes for me too!
Me seeing the FHE Kids logo I instantly remember nostalgia was coming back to my old DVD player we used to have.
I'm so glad that I can always count on you for all the old logos 😌😌😁😁😁

I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s having the 1980s gi joe tv shows on VHS and seeing the FHE logo as well as the rhino logo
The 2nd logo makes me feel nostalgic, although I never grew up with it.
#2 scared tf outa me as a kid!

for me it's really nostalgic and gives the back to school vibe.
So as the music. Even tho it gives me chills. I like it nonetheless

The 1st logo... The sound effect is absolutely annoying. And what the heck is that scribbly-like star animation that just zooms in??? I can't even stand it... It is one of the absolute worst I've ever seen.
The 2nd logo. I love the music behind it, but may scare you when it's too loud (so does the sound and visual effects)
The 3rd logo. It looks pretty, and it's definitely not as scary as the previous logo. Really nice logo
The 4th logo. Plain and boring, but the shining effect on "Family Home Entertainment" does stand out, and it's nice
The 5th logo. Also a really nice logo. The beginning may scare you though.
