How to make crispy chakli at home/ಗರಿಗರಿಯಾದ ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ

Traditional Recipe Of Chakli By Leelamma
Ingredients:
4 cups of rice
1 cup of urad dal
two tb spoons of cumin seeds
pinch of hing
salt
oil for deep frying
Need to clean the raw rice and wash it in pure water in succession for 7 times repeatedly without allowing the rice to get soaked. repeat the same procedure with Urad dal also. then strain the water and spread it on a cloth and dry it in shade for about 8 hours.
later heat a pan and simply slight roast the rice in batches. but, roast urad dal until there is a sight change in colour of dal. roast dal also in batches. now mix both dal and rice and dry grind them. later this mixture flour is taken and cumin seeds are added and knead it to a dough with heated oil ( little) and hing. Go on pressing the dough in the chakli machine and deep fry them to get tasty and crispy Challis.

ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಅತ್ತೆ ಯವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲೀಲಮ್ಮನವರು ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧಗಳಿರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಐದು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೋರಿಸಿರುವ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ಮಾಡಿ ನೋಡಿ.

ಎರಡು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚಮಚ ಜೀರಿಗೆ
ಚಿಟಿಕೆ ಇಂಗು
ಉಪ್ಪು
ಕರಿಯಲು ಎಣ್ಣೆ
