i agree with the cutting it down but they did cut of dialogue that led to scenes like sanji mentioning going to the fish market where in the remake he just appears there with no context so we just assume he went food shopping
It did feel unusual when I first watched it, but then I watched the original and realized that everything they cut out was literally just meaningless stuff. It's miles better than what we have in the original
I agree that it's miles better. But the problem is that they just copied and pasted the original but with removed scenes and better art style. They should've reworked the scenes. E g. When ussop shoots the pop green at fake Nami, fake Nami is standing right next to real Nami, but in the previous shot fake Nami was with the fake crew. It makes it feel a bit choppy
The anime is an adaptation off of The One Piece manga. It can take its own direction if it wants to as long as the people in charge of the anime have an interesting vision to tell. The One Piece anime will not be of higher quality just because it follows the manga word for word or panel for panel...
Cutting out jokes are not good everything in the manga matters most people's favorite parts about One Piece is the simple things we are literally watching videos on YT that's doesn't effect our lives at all but we still watch it because it's funny everything matter it
Toei should just remake the entirety of dragon ball with the new animation if the one piece fans are just gonna complain about it. Those short clips of the buu saga were like treats handed by god himself
i just wish that they attest finish egg head island before doing this, i cant even watch the remaster episode due to it being premium only on crunchy roll with how padded out the pacing is (wanno takes over 2 days to watch All the episodes including the opening and credit's and i am pretty sure the fight against kiedo takes a full 1/3 of the episodes) i skipped fishman island initially and parts of punk hazard too due to the slow pacing, it's like the jokes about how dragon ball z's fights are mostly just them yelling accept instead of them yelling and gathering power it's luffy and zoro on opposite sides of the island fighting the 2 obscenely tanky antagonist's of that arc interrupted by the rest of the crew barely scraping by while fighting entire army's of pirates that just get taken out in one or two hit's while the mini bosses that are still around beats them into getting a new ability (literally with sanji) that will be power scaled into uselessness by the time they get to the next island like what happened with nami and zeus it's tiresome watching a fight that takes over 6 hours just to watch and i wouldn't be surprised if the latter hath of wanno was in real time due to how slow the pacing is in the anime
My apologies for the bad audio and the watermark. (Had to record on another app Capcut was being stupid)
its ok
The one about One Piece chapters being extremely dense is true
i agree with the cutting it down but they did cut of dialogue that led to scenes like sanji mentioning going to the fish market where in the remake he just appears there with no context so we just assume he went food shopping
The problem is not the pacing, it's the lack of cohesion
fast pacing > slow pacing anyway

I just want them to keep close to the manga... It doesn't have to be fast or slow, as long as it tells the story well
agreed

@@JesusIsKingOfKings-yj4xf Depends. Their vision tends to change the pacing of the series a lot, and I am personally not so fond of that

Good video as usual
Appreciate it! 😄
need new story boarding
Pacing was perfect

I nearly dropped one piece because of the pacing in wano for i think it was 6months.🤔
