*_Amazing advice! I immediately went to my channel and switched out the channel trailer I've been wanting to update, anyway, and replaced with one of my most upbeat videos that showcases what it's about overall. Thanks!_*
Channel trailers are so annoying to me as a viewer. When I go to a channel I have never once intentionally watched someone's trailer, yet they autoplay. The rush to hit pause when I am trying to navigate to a specific video has to be a turn off to more folks than just myself!
I've made a channel trailer with some clips from my most fun shorts, I also add it to the end of every long form vid, not sure if that's correct or not but my logic is it shows all viewers the fun stuff and its in short form so its plain to see the end screen vid links without covering my clips 😎
I love this idea. As a viewer, the only thing I would recommend is switching up the clips that you use from time to time with the newest stuff. Maybe 3 times per year. Each time the viewers see something they never saw at the end of a video, they're more likely to watch more
@@paintedpreppers-airguns thanks for sharing your idea! It's amazing how much you can get out of talking to other creators. Love the channel by the way, lots of luck. Though I dont think you'll be needing luck. Cheers 🤙
I’ve been internationally published twice so I have a “why should you listen to me?” video but I’d never set it as a trailer. I respect the time of the overworked teachers and students I’m serving with my tips and other content.
Thank you Sean. I recently revised my short trailer to make it a little longer so that new people understood why I record videos, and I shared my story abit. But starting out, a short one is better. I think a trailer should be an intentional video including what you suggested. ❤
Since I personally hate trailers because they distract me and I immidiately mute them, so I don't even think about putting any trailer, because I want to keep my audiance in my channel. Trailers will increase bounce rate of Channels
It certainly does for me. I subscribe to channel that have these and half the time I won’t even click on their videos because I’ve got no stomach for a trailer after a long day.
Is it true that welcome video starts automatically? If it’s true it’s super annoying 😅 Sometimes you don’t want that unexpected noise when you just come to new channel. Especially at the night time 😂
I get thousands of views and I’ve only had my channel up for a a week now. I only have 20 subscribers though. Do you think a trailer is necessary? Bc I’m not sure if it’s good I’m getting thousands of views with such low subscribers

Thank you Think Media for inspiring me and motivating me to NOT GIVE UP 🙌❤️😊
Congratulations 🍾
Congratulations
I have one that is only 7 seconds long. I use this for all my podcast videos.
Great reminder! I need to state clearly a why that resonates for my channel in a short trailer. I needed a kick in the butt😊

Glad it was helpful!
I've wondered about this for so long if it's worth it or not. I absolutely love this answer. Thank you so much for the help!
Timing for this was perfect. Was literally debating this question right now for my new channel. Thank you!

I was just tinkering with these.
Watching now at 720p. What happened with that?
Fixing in the future. Failure on my part.
@@ThinkMediaPodcast no worries. Still great content.

Sounds like the answer is no.
I removed my trailer because I wanted to add a new one. Now I don't have an option to add the trailer as it's vanished from my channel.
Cool
Hi.
I do not like any trailers. It is a distraction when I review someone’s channel.
Agreed.
