was invite only session not that we could not do mc and ceo sells ? i think it was ........so having it in red dead online would be kind of useless and even boring for me when there are not even players to see over time on the trip
@@cheatox1 that's actually their point. They want it to feel like a living breathing world and although that can bring griefers, solo lobbies would take away from the role playing aspect and defeat the purpose.
@@cheatox1 no. it was there since day one. also the solo servers were always there. those were the ways you could enjoy your character without a bunch of random assholes ruining your time.
PeeweePenguin13 _ At first I was against it. After playing Dying Light I can’t believe how mundane RDR2 feels. They should just make it a separate friendly lobby.
Easiest way to prevent hackers: Small update per week. Every update makes cheat creators have to update their hacks/menu or whatever it is. Why? Because every change in game's source code changes memory addresses that hacks/mods are refering. Add some variable to game's source code, compile it and done. Many of hack creators will be discouraged to update their shit every week.
Reverted back to Defensive Mode and i think switching social matching off has helped. Less bother since the New Year anyway. Basically just watch your back and mini map. I don't even trust blue dots anymore. The red and purple dots are a pointless joke. I've had blue players "innocently" creep in on my activities and grief me.
I think too, with a few free aim PVP modes, that defensive mode has become just as bad as offensive mode with some idiots taking a pot shot at you for no reason if you're in defensive. Just leave me be & go find another idiot who wants a free roam PVP shootout with you.
Me: Hey Rockstar, the game won’t let me buy gold bars, could I get some help? Rockstar: OMG YES SENPAI OF COURSE!!!!! RIGHT AWAY MA’AM!!!! *fixes immediately* Me: Cool thanks! Hey there’s also some hackers who have been griefing me for the past half hour, do you think you cou-? Rockstar: *Customer Service No Longer Available* Me: . . . 😑
Good comment 😆 it's relatable. And for anyone planning on playing RDR2 online on PC please be aware that the hackers are even worse now than before. I have been playing a lot recently and I thinking of uninstalling RDR2 just because of how bad it is at the minute, I can't even do my trader or bounty hunter missions without a hacker teleporting me somewhere on the map, setting me on fire or blowing me up. Just be careful if you go online.
It is interesting how much the menu for these hacks are very "debug mode" like. If it was found out that these hackers are disgruntled employees hoping to damage the company's reputation, I wouldn't be surprised.
Travis Bickle tf have you been partner? Online gets trashed to no end. That's like unironically saying "finally found some people that don't worship Fallout 76".
I don't think I've ever seen anyone online say anything good about it. I think it's kinda fun when playing it relaxed and not stressing about having to own everything... but nowhere near perfect and many complaints are very valid. The hate trend seems to exaggerate in my opinion though.
Tracy Rae hackers means online... so best way is solo lobby, means no players around, means no hacker, logic... single player dlc doesn’t fix hacking, because then it would be single player, meaning story mode.
They are fucking obsessed with the formula Use slow ass truck to make deliveries half way across the map while every random cunt tries to kill you with explosive bullets and no you can't do it in a empty server !
Idk, in red dead online I never had this problem of people targeting me when I do a mission. Compared to the gta online players, the rdr2 ones are much more chill and nice people mostly
@@siloy23 I've been lucky that I haven't been attacked during a mission but I've been attacked a lot randomly by griefers just not during a mission, still forced public lobbies are lame.
I'll never understand that. We had the option of public, private, hardcore, and friendly free roam sessions in the previous game. I really wish they would've given us that same option in RDO, as well as transporting to your posse leader.
Why do people still do this? There isn't a benefit to being an asshole, why would you did this to people? If you find this entertaining or satisfying, you need to seek help.
Not everyone is sane, there VERY VERY bad people in this world, like people who wouldn't flicnh a second before murdering you for a few bucks. Those type of people do these stuff in games too.
rockstar actively encourages trolling. they know that frustration will most likely lead to microtransactions. best way to combat this is to not buy any rockstar products. i havent bought rdr2 and i feel fine. i already know how john marston's story ends so i dont really care about the phantom menace, attack of the clones, and revenge of the sith. my imagination will fill in those blanks. thats what she said.
I don't play any multiplayer games anymore, I saw its perfect incarnation and it is worse than porn, Find some other things to entertain yourself, you will thank those hackers later. This should be a place only for them, where they lose money and have fun with each other, imagine what they would have done irl if depraved of this possibility. If you are a sane person the only way is out.
you know what really grinds my gears? people getting banned for graphics enhancements and trolls allowed to hack other players! its almost like thats what rockstar wants
There on console to bud just don't know the extent of it. I met a guy yesterday who kept teleporting behind me. Although I could kill him it just got annoying.
I stopped playing a long time ago, this multiplayer could have been something special, and I never thought I would say this but... this is Rockstar, they don't give a shit, you're losing money, not them. By the way *GOLD* *BARS*
Even before Red Dead 2 was coming out I knew Rockstar was gonna turn the Red Dead online like what GTA 5 online was. Rockstar used to be sooo good...now they are a shithole company. :(
It has never truly been "fun", not even in the Beta. They insufferably drip-feed us content before dropping what they call a "major update" that is *enjoyable* for about a month at best. Then the game dies again, so they repeat the process: drip-feed, content drop, game dies, repeat. Depending on how Cyberpunk 2077's online world is, I might completely forget about RDO.
NaZtRdAmUs probably will happen when there is a new game coming out, there is already some people who wants it which is sad, they said they wished rockstar add a super fast turbo horse lmao, and was wishing it’s an alternative gta online
I get teleported to an asshat, I report him and quit the game. Logged into the next server and not even in this new server more then a minute the same thing happens. This is unacceptable, Rockstar needs to resolve this now!
Yeah it's pretty rife. Just experienced a one-shot kill from halfway across the map from a Lancaster repeater non-headshot when I was galloping at full speed (with full health). Talk about making it obvious...
Yeah i came across some ppl that were off the radar and couldn’t be locked onto. One of them was straight god mode, took a dynamite arrow to the body, 0 dmg didn’t even knock him down! It’s bad, really bad...
If Rockstar would fix some of the problems like no animal spawns I believe it would really reduce the griefers. New players are trying to play but cant due to no spawns so they just say the hell with it I'm gunna kill something.
@@hashmash12 I have an Australian friend that literally cannot access anything in his moonshine Shack I can't join his posse he can't join my Posse. So I'm alone still
DoomSlayer 522 I played single player from October until June then I started playing online and only went back to single player to test guns and horses. Of course single player will always have it’s advantages, but there’s no progression and no motivation to keep investing in it. When you play online it actually has meaning b/c you are preparing yourself for the future.
Everyone who says "you don't have to buy them" either works for a company with microtransactions or is a fanboy of a company that has microtransactions in games.
You can get that pretty easily once you unlock the trader role and start selling wagons of goods. The trouble is that the camp is glitching out all the time for a lot of people. But, I have the medium wagon. A long distance run nets me 187.50 dollars. So if I do eight runs I have enough for the tent and cash to spare. The bigger wagons give you even more money and the collector and bounty hunter roles also give a lot of money once you get up a few levels or complete collections to sell to madame nazar. It just takes a bit of work is all!
Thank you for making this video, I've been recording hackers all week, at least 2 instances a day for 5 days straight, most i sent directly to hackstar, a few others i put on youtube. Its becoming a freaking nightmare of a game to play. Guess I should count myself lucky i havent had my money take yet, just locked in a cage with cougars, lifted into the air while on fire, and dropped to my death, blown up, gassed, had my camp burned to the ground, horses killed, hell my whole posse was frozen in place for a few seconds, then we all exploded. They need to figure something out soon, or it'll ruin the game.
R* has NEVER been proactive against cheaters and they will never "fix" it. I was a staunch RDR1 player and I fell in love with multiplayer. It was simplistic and player engagement was constant. Rampant cheating was the eventual demise of RDR1 MP and there was still a huge player base that was showing up everyday wanting to play. If it was still supported I'd be playing that (specifically for MP) and put RDR2 back on the shelf. There's no doubt RDR2 is far more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but imo there was nothing more fun than Armadillo land grabs, gang shootouts with the revered "stand offs" at the he beginning of each match, and neverending posse battles. I waited 8 years for RDR2 and the story was phenomenal. However, I'm a multiplayer kind of gal and RDO was a disappointment from the start for me because it was deep fried in GTAO. I know the GTA franchise is their cash cow but not all of R*s player base love GTAO. I can't stand it so I was resentful when RDO had such a GTAO feel to it. I wouldn't hold your breath when it comes to R* making this right and taking a tougher stance against cheating. They won't. It will inevitably cost them some of their most loyal, die-hard base. Their inaction tells me it's more about the almighty dollar and less about their player base at this point.
a long time ago, i requested them to implement HWID bans. still hvnt. right now, i doubt it will even work anymore. it's not just R* 's reponsibility, the player base is just toxic. i guess certain games attract more scummy personalities.
@@TheGhostOperative you're right. R* games has always had scumbag players. Not everyone but there are more than a few I've come across. Hell, players are still cheating in RDR1 multiplayer. I was in a free roam just a few days ago and it was so much fun. That constant player engagement mixed with such dynamic ambient music is so satisfying. The cheaters always show up to ruin a good time. It makes them feel superior, somehow. It's frustrating for those of us who really love the Red Dead franchise.
Want Rockstar to do something? Download a modmenu and star giving thousends of gold bars to every player in session. In about a week the game will be modmenu proof.
nope. GTA online hackers have been giving away ever since the game came out on PC and nothing has been fixed. Modders just come up with better scripts and modding tools. Right now GTA Online is a hack fest. You can hear a 10 year old on the mic that insults you and freezes you then kills you...
They can't fix it because it's shitty p2p multiplayer, everything works clientside and only things synced with an external server is money and matchmaking... Hackers can disable any clientside anticheat so... R* needs dedicated servers and 80% of these problems would be gone
Ok, legitimately, like Someone needs to make a hack to steal people's gold bars cause otherwise R* isn't gonna pay any f*cking attention to the problems in this game.
No, that’ll have the opposite effect. If hackers steal people Gold Bars, then people will be inclined to buy Gold Bars, furthermore giving Rockstar more reason to not care. If someone made a hack that gave you Gold Bars, Rockstar would patch that within 24 hours.
Can't say I've ever felt the need to spend real money whilst playing RDO, grinding out levels for roles has been a blast and is everything you said you wanted to do it the online.
Gta i got sick of grinding for months at a time for hardly no money for doing mission and heist. Every time they will let you make money they increase the cost of everything.
@@joehand2156 It's a giant joke, they keep adding businesses and such to make money, but then they make them extremely costly and operate almost at a loss. You need hours and hours of grind to even make back the money you spent on the business in the first place.
1:09 That's one of the stupidest arguments for microtransactions. Because even if one doesn't buy in-game advantages, the developers still are incentivised to make the grinding as unfun as bearable for the player to get the player to buy the advantages instead of playing to get them. It's like: "Dude, that guy is ripping me off. I want to go to the 86th floor, and he tells me to either walk the stairs for free or take the elevator for 60 Dollars." "I don't see the problem, you're not forced to take the elevator."
If you log in every day and do one quick daily, which takes less than ten minutes, you build up a streak. After one month the streak builds up a multiplier so large that every two daily quests you do will net you one gold bar. This includes role dailies like donating animals to Cripps or bringing in a bounty alive. The bounty hunter role also gives gold nuggets, I believe.
Trust me, if you could earn Gold Bars from being a Gold Prospector, Rockstar wouldn’t do it. And even if you could, they’d make sure it pays low like 1 or 2 Gold Bars.
One time when I was about to pick up an eagle/hawk egg (forgot which), a grizzly bear spawns right on top of me. 2 seconds later I'm dead, and both the bear and the egg are gone. With so many hackers around, I get suspicious every time something unexpected happens.
the game itself is fucking amazing. too bad it's still not really fixed on pc. customer support is apparently foreign to them and now this. I never played online before because performance is shit (for some unknown reason) but tbh, now I'm glad I didn't waste my time with it.
I've been telling people that for years, but no one listened. I'm sorry, but I'm not wasting thousands of dollars on a multitool that can easily get a virus when I can instead get a machine just for gaming that can't really get a virus for like a quarter of the price. The only thing PC has going for it is mods, and I don't count that really because it has nothing to do with the actual functionality of it.
I've had this game about 10 whole days. Dude... TEN. DAYS. I've seen more cheating/hacking in this game than I've seen anywhere else!! (I've never played gta, so..) I can NOT believe Rockstar won't do more to prevent at least SOME of the crap we've seen. This is INSANE!
Red dead online? Hmm ... I wanted to complain about hackers, but rockstar's servers are so devilishly bad, I can't stay in a session for half an hour ...
The PC player base is basically already dead! There's only a few severs when I play & I guess I'm lucky to only have encountered 1 definite cheater but there's been a few others that probably just have ridiculously high ping. The bugs with lack of animal spawns the camp not setting up properly & not being able to get into my moonshine shack drive me insane! At least I've never bought any gold bars & already have every role & the season pass all from daily challenges & stranger missions so suck on that R*
I was surprised when Rdr2 got released on PC because I knew these things were going to happen because Gta Online on PC is hell because of all the hack menus, and it’s just getting worse for every year because people make more and more advanced hack menus that can hurt the community
Atleast gtao had private lobbies... I remember an hacker put an crazy 10+digit bounty on my head. I logged out join another lobby messaged my friends to take the bounty and we split the money.. Those where the days
Just create a empty lobby in gta(use the ressourcemonitor of the taskmanager and stop gta for 5-10sek than let it run again while in a lobby and because of "connectionproblems" so to say you get seperated). But in rdr its not possible.
@@derstrohmann7450 right if you cant get rid of hackers atleast let my do solo public lobbies like gtaO. its basically the only way to grind now in gta with all the cheaters.
All rockstar cares about is purchasing their gold bars that’s why when you report someone who’s disturbing or hacking there is no action against it, but when you do gold glitches treasure maps glitches exe… they’ll ban you without even a report which means they control and they know what’s going on in the game And one more last word ( they are super stingy and tight with the money in the game )
Not to be that guy but this is why I enjoy playing GTA online and red dead online on consoles. Rockstar is so toan deaf when it comes having any type of anti cheat that works for PC. Console players rarely find hackers
@@ShadowCim I was talking about ps4 and Xbox one. Ps3 and 360 is a lost cause it's honestly worse than PC when it comes to hackers. It's simple to mod on those consoles compared to PS4 and Xbox one
Yeah I like the fact that he was refraining from saying PC the entire time just to make the entire game seem broken. Meanwhile you get free DLC a decent season pass and you can actually see what you're going to buy instead of loot boxes. But literally the only thing that makes this PC game bad is PC players but that's the "master race" though......
@AlreadyWon I can wash my face inside the bar that I own at the Moonshine Shack that I own I have a hunting wagon for bounty hunting. Horses, a dog, and a few associates for story missions that involve honor...it's been out one year my guy gtao didn't happen overnight. So if you really want to keep nitpicking why don't you make a better one?
@AlreadyWon I have an Australian friend thatI can't access anything let alone my possy his posse or even the Moonshine Shack i know. But as far as my experience goes. I literally have no problems besides infinite loading screens. Look at any of my rdro streams. No trolls no glitches. Ps4.
@AlreadyWon you're literally the epitome of an entitled millennial. You want Red Dead online to start with full content in its first year. And then bitch that you're not able to own it immediately... "I want it daddy, i want it all NOW!"
I've known many cheat developer for R* Games before personally, and R* Would rather sue the person developing them themselves for hundreds of thousands, INSTEAD of fixing their absolutely flawed anti cheat that has been the exact same on all of their games for the past 10 years, I have known not one, not two, not three, but more than a handful of cheat developers and R* SUED THEM ALL instead of developing their anti cheat system, can they do both? Yes! It's not hard for a gigantic goliath of a company to do such a thing, A great example of a company that does this is Epic Games, fortnite, they have a superb hard to bypass anti cheat that actually requires time effort and alot, alot of money to make and purchase and they sue users as well as developers for the cheats, R* COULD EASILY do this, but they refuse, why? Because once the transaction of 50$ goes from your bank account to theirs you are trapped, and along with this some (not all) hackers do get banned and what do they have to do to cheat again? Buy another account which is why the don't care, because they will always, ALWAYS win.
ive been playing since the beta days and i have seen every glitch on the ps4 console. The worst was when i saw a horse so big its head was touching the clouds, it was galloping outside of blackwater, players in my lobby were trying to shoot it down but it had no effect
0:11 I mean before Frontier Pursuits it used to be a cash vacuum. Now you just grind a few levels, get enough gold for the collector license, loot bodies until you hit a high enough level to unlock both the shovel and the metal detector for purchase, and then just run around with said metal detector as you basically get hundreds of dollars an IRL day.
Is anyone unable to find a full showdown in online? EVERYTIME i try to play a showdown it’s always empty and i don’t know if it is because players just don’t play it or because there is a problem in Rockstar matchmaking. This happens to me only on PC
You run in to them every once in a while, but I instantly quit the session if I find one. Reloading into a different session might be a bit difficult depending on the endless loading screens or not but otherwise I feel like the hacking situation could be worse.
i haven't bought gold bars, and i don't plan to buy some either, but i didn't had any issue collecting some gold with the daily chalenges and all the other way to have some (mainly bounties, story mission and strangers misions) . i kinda agree that it feel like it's a lot at the begining to farm all the money and gold bars, but it isn't as bad as GTA V online, the grind is definitively less hard to do with the daily challenges. i know that it's not everyone who like the daily challenges, but you only need to complete 1 to keep your streak, any 1 of the 18 challenges. so take the easiest, which can be completed under 10 minutes most of the time. then go play whaterver you want. so IMO right now, the goldbars ain't the issue, but it could be better for sure. for the hacker, can't tell realy, i encounter 2 or 3 max on pc, and trust me i did played a lot. maybe i got lucky and they didn't interacterd with me or i haven't been in a lobby with hackers in it. either way, i saw more than enough video on youtube of multiple hacker in lobby, on pc and on console, both definitively have a lot of hackers. it does feel bad since their games have a rich story and a many details in their worlds.
this only got five likes because people like to complain instead of face the truth i went and made a new character because i stacked up enough money and gold on my other one, those daily challenges really pay out
@@whitejesus983 a lot, but i would record that with shadow play and report it to rock star and hope they compensate about it. Whatever need to happen will hapen guys, you can't stop something that meant to be. Even if it shouldn't be. That's the sad and cold truth, i learned it the hard way.
For anyone trying to figure out if modders are “fixed”, they aren’t. Fortunately the camp upkeep fee hack is gone (or so it seems), but modders can still spawn however many animals, or even your character, they want, and even blow you and your horse up indefinitely. It is still a common occurance. If you don’t want to run into any modders that ruin the game, do not return yet. Rockstar haven’t patched anything, sorry to say.
I remember one time, when I was catching 6 five star bounties in Saint Denie. I found myself surrounded by friggin cougars out of nowhere IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRIGGIN SAINT-DENIE!!!! HOOOW???! Well, they feasted my flesh...
Hackers became a Plague in alot of Online games rn, especially in Team Fortress 2, i was actually ready to buy RDR2 for the Online Part, but i was utterly Dissapointed to see that hackers will Drain you for no Reason. oh well, guess ill spend my money elsewhere.
I spent my entire high school career on GTA Online. Didn't spend one penny on shark cards. Just had fun with those custom made deathmatches(Roblox playground - first to reach the end of the obstacle course gets OP weaponry and can grief all the losers. /;D). You see, GTA Online is fun because who doesn't like going at high speeds and up ramps and shit with friends!? Then you had missions like Rooftop Rumble and Coveted(Before Nerf patch). It was fun learning all the different griefing tactics to win as fast as possible. I stopped playing as soon as I tried doing the Doomsday heist. They combined the cash grabby free mode stock missions with heist setups. HELL NAH! RDO: I played up until I got my camp set up for the first time, and I deleted my character and went back to Single-player. Plus, by not playing or supporting any of their online modes, it only makes Rockstar closer to announcing their next game sooner(Please let it be Bully 2). PLEASE STOP BUYING SHARK CARDS/GOLD BARS! Please!? Don't be a lazy dumbass gamer. Just be a gamer again. :)
I've done 100% of what Red Dead Online has to offer, maxed all my roles and everything.. Still haven't spent a dime and havent encountered any hackers...
I was trying to play RDO and i did notice my money was being drained from stable upkeep and i didn't have any horses in the stable an was being charged which is ridiculous! An plus my character kept getting blown up an thrown all over the place an they made me lose all my skins an killed my horse, they kept spawning horses an stuff all over the place too! I might was well just play the campaign cause i can't even play without getting messed with, an they we're doing one shot kills on me, couldn't ever get a shot at them
There seems to be a dynamite hack going around and these "winners" seem to have nothing better to do than spam other players. It's my opinion rockstar should sue these people for economically sabotaging their business model but I suspect they're to lazy. Personally I won't purchase anything in any rockstar game beyond the base until this is resolved or online is shut down.
Cheesy Charlie I still think the beta is there lol it’s just invisible they had beta on for months But never changed it lol. And they asked for PC and they knew what they would do hacker or modders who are also the same as gta modders lol
Why is _anyone_ playing MMOs? I don't get it. Are they stupid? I was a loyal City of Heroes player. I paid my $15 a month for year after year, bought every expansion, bought every costume, holiday, power, and base pack, and paid extra on top for the ability to create my own adventure areas for other player to play (to which I gave hundreds of hours of work). My reward for spending hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars? NCSoft shut the game down and stole all my money. Not because the game wasn't profitable but because it wasn't profitable _enough_ for them. I learned my lesson. The player in an MMO is a hostage to greedy corporate scumbags. Okay NCSoft, you ripped me off. But I have not paid a single dime, not one brazen penny, to _any_ MMO since, and I never will. It blows my mind that a person can see what happened to loyal customers of City of Heroes or Marvel Online and still hand over their money to MMOs.
rdr2 isnt fun at all rockstar is just lazy af in gta5 they wipe my account for someone trowing money bags at me , while the guy that had all the mods still have his account
they wipe your account for spending that money, not receiving it. Ive had money dropped on me 3 times and every time i instantly made a support ticket and got the money off. Still have my level 800 account.
Ethan seriously it was so boring I really don’t get the hype it had sure they story is fun but after the horse ride that is very slow and then you have to ride you horse across old los santos lol we need a special horse that is like the super speed smh or old day car buggy
Ahmed Noseir "old los santos" lmao Also what the fuck y’all thinking buying this game if u hate the horse so much... ITS THE FUCKING WILD WEST?!! No shit there ain’t gonna be cars and FUCKEN flying bike that shoots missiles for tryhards to ruin someone’s day.... WILD WEST PEOPLE ITS THE GODDAMN 1800s SET IN AMERICA, NOT LA BUT AMERICA!!!!
Supreme Senpai kind of like that anime you watch right and read right? All anime is so trash I can’t stand it. It makes film looks embarrassing. With your virgin weeboo name. It’s so bad. it’s just an idea you twat, I’m pretty sure you’ll have flying horses wagons soon in this game since logic doesn’t comply with Rockstar. Get bent.
I've started playing only less than a month ago. It's absolutely gotten worse. Every other time I play I am targeted by a hacker. Getting blown up, cougars spawning, teleported around, chased down, all of it. It's seriously soured my mood and experience when I play, and I mostly hang with friends. I'm begging for private servers at this point. We just wanna hang out and be cowboys and outlaws y'all, not dealing with this shite!
Maybe it just me but there is also a bunch of glitches especially in elimination. One time i couldn't pick up a gun for a solid 2 minutes into the match and then I got grappled and despite me mashing the break free button i still died but when I grappled that same player they broke out after a second. Is that just my game.
5:48 "lazy" is a bit too much don't you think, I mean of course they could have developed the core system of their game (not saying that they didn't but clearly what they had done is not enough) more than this but think of it from a different perspective, the game in its current statue is very complicated and their previous system is functional (if it aint broke don't fix it because it will cost you a lot if you did) so that's why i think they made the two games similar in structure because of money not devs laziness.
I never meant to imply that it wasn’t a problem. I’m simply stating that I haven’t had any issues with this particular problem from a console players standpoint
What PC Players expect? There is always a way to be a hacker in any game if they are in PC. There is no problem with security, just wait 4 months and there is a new software
I haven’t either, but I haven’t played recently and probably will see it eventually. Idk if they slowly get more brazen or just discover more stuff as time goes on, but back when GTA IV was new on PS3 I’d notice little things like invincible players, weird weapons, wrong weapons on death match. A few years later I experienced crazy shit like someone replacing my player model with an NPC cop and making me dance while in a motorcycle race and taking control of my vehicles. Could be it’s more noticeable with a smaller player base. The game is so big with so many players, maybe you’ve just got lucky and haven’t been targeted. PS4 and Xbone are supposedly way harder to mess with, though.
What Rockstar needs to do is allow us to have a private room with our friends and be able to play the game and seller stuff without creepers destroying everything we do cuz I'm starting to get mad and I'm going to demand my money back
What happened to me was a guy on a horse with (intentionally) slowed connection speed that was running around me a lasooing me - lagging, so i was not able to shoot him or even see, as he was just "lagging around"... I'm just so annoyed at this point
I like your content, SWEG, but the grind in this game is one of the most lenient I have ever seen. Go to the RDO section of gtaforums and you will see plenty of people with thousands of golds from grinding alone. The trick is to do daily challenges. People can earn up to 10 gold bars a day if they keep up the streak for 28 days. I earned enough gold bars to unlock all four money-making roles and the season pass only after around 170 hours. You are not going to find many online games where you can grind enough to unlock the vast majority of available content in less than 3 weeks (not counting cosmetic stuff). I didn't shill a single cent during this. Compared to GTAO, this game is a grinder's paradise. Other than that, your video is on point and I agree with you 100%. I have recently submitted a rant about hackers on gtaforums as well. Trust me, we are on the same page regarding hackers.
I play on PS4 and don't really experience any issues even hostile players don't seem to exist in my experience even though I know they do. Everytime I log on I make sure the moonshining business is still active I do a couple Balinese pick up a couple animals on the way back to camp and then sell the Moonshine.
who the fuck cares? imagine if in skyrim if you wanted to afford some daedric gear, either you: 1) PAY WITH REAL MONEY 2) do trivial bullshit like "daily challenges" for a month straight, grinding hours a day to afford it. dont defend it in skyrim and dont defend it in rdo or gtao. seriously, 170 hours? grinding, doing boring bullshit for 170 hours? you know how long that is? I could have three, four full fun actual playthroughs of skyrim with different characters and really delving deep into my characters and roleplaying or... spend 170 hours grinding lmao
It doesn't take as much time as it sounds. It took me that long because I did other things other than just grinding for golds. You usually only need an hour or two every day to complete all non-role daily challenges, provided that you use guides to do some of them. 22 days of that and you will have enough to unlock all four roles. That's only like 44 hours, around the same length as the singleplayer campaign. Most other online games like R6S require you to spend at least four or five times as much to unlock most of the (non-cosmetic) premium stuff in their store. I have spent the same amount of time in RDO as I have in R6S and Dead By Daylight and I haven't even unlocked half of the characters in those games. RDO's grind is very lenient by today's standard. If you don't have time for Red Dead, I'm afraid you don't have the time for most online games nowadays. I'm not saying that this game is good or even comparable to other singleplayer games, it's just that it's not as grindy as people who don't even play it seem to think. If people pay for GOLD BARS then Rockstar has the responsibility to make sure no one can steal the real money that they spent for their Fake Money aka GOLD BARS
I‘ve been playing RDO a long time so I make all the gold bars I need from daily challenges and bounty hunting. Making money in general has also been much easier with the introduction of roles. I also play on console so I don’t deal with these hackers either. That must be quite a pain. 👀
I have come across numerous modders on PS4. God mode, aim bot, being able to shoot you in your camp with the white flag raised, having every weapon while only being a level 30 or lower, not needing a horse near by to change weapon loadout.... They don’t care if they are caught and banned because they will just make a new account. I honestly believe Cockstar allows hackers and modders in their games as a way to drive micro transaction sales. They want the player to get pissed off by getting killed unfairly, so that player will buy in game money in order to get even, without thinking about it rationally. Cockstar games have good graphics but their games are just not worth playing anymore.
The reason it’s hard for modders to get caught is basically the high quality menus are injected once the game has started rather than put files in your game....
Free menus tend to use internal files but paid menus usually are a more secure program that is almost like running an another program separately that overlaps the game...

Easiest way to prevent hackers:
Small update per week. Every update makes cheat creators have to update their hacks/menu or whatever it is. Why? Because every change in game's source code changes memory addresses that hacks/mods are refering. Add some variable to game's source code, compile it and done. Many of hack creators will be discouraged to update their shit every week.

Beautiful.

They can't fix it because it's shitty p2p multiplayer, everything works clientside and only things synced with an external server is money and matchmaking... Hackers can disable any clientside anticheat so... R* needs dedicated servers and 80% of these problems would be gone

All rockstar cares about is purchasing their gold bars that’s why when you report someone who’s disturbing or hacking there is no action against it, but when you do gold glitches treasure maps glitches exe… they’ll ban you without even a report which means they control and they know what’s going on in the game
And one more last word ( they are super stingy and tight with the money in the game )
Went trader role, distant buyer. encountered hacker. 30 min wasted. Thanks for the interesting experience rockstar
I am glad someone talked about this, good video! 👍
Care to drop any names of these so called "cheat developers"?

ive been playing since the beta days and i have seen every glitch on the ps4 console.
No one plays lol
Crepit1 if this is the problem what is wrong with them lmao
I played about 320hours of online since i got it on pc and only ran into hackers 2 times, i just changed the session and i was fine after that...
You run in to them every once in a while, but I instantly quit the session if I find one. Reloading into a different session might be a bit difficult depending on the endless loading screens or not but otherwise I feel like the hacking situation could be worse.
I've had the same experience.
i haven't bought gold bars, and i don't plan to buy some either, but i didn't had any issue collecting some gold with the daily chalenges and all the other way to have some (mainly bounties, story mission and strangers misions) . i kinda agree that it feel like it's a lot at the begining to farm all the money and gold bars, but it isn't as bad as GTA V online, the grind is definitively less hard to do with the daily challenges. i know that it's not everyone who like the daily challenges, but you only need to complete 1 to keep your streak, any 1 of the 18 challenges. so take the easiest, which can be completed under 10 minutes most of the time. then go play whaterver you want. so IMO right now, the goldbars ain't the issue, but it could be better for sure.
for the hacker, can't tell realy, i encounter 2 or 3 max on pc, and trust me i did played a lot. maybe i got lucky and they didn't interacterd with me or i haven't been in a lobby with hackers in it. either way, i saw more than enough video on youtube of multiple hacker in lobby, on pc and on console, both definitively have a lot of hackers. it does feel bad since their games have a rich story and a many details in their worlds.
this only got five likes because people like to complain instead of face the truth
i went and made a new character because i stacked up enough money and gold on my other one, those daily challenges really pay out
yup, agreed. its really not that hard to earn money and Gold, especially with the roles.
How angry would you be after grinding a good bit of gold, only for some hacker to steal it all in seconds, its happened and the videos are out there.

This Is Why I Usually Never Play Online And Still Goes To Single Player
Single Player Baby (Yes I Stole Your Line From One Of Your Videos)

" Gold Bars"
They're too lazy to support the single player part of the game.
They were lazy enough not to add John's 1899 hair.
Joking, but still they could've added it as a haircut option at the barber's.

Huh, I haven’t come across any hackers. Possibly because I’m a console player.
Good for you, sport.
That doesn't make the problem any less important. Rockstar has to address this immediately.
I never meant to imply that it wasn’t a problem. I’m simply stating that I haven’t had any issues with this particular problem from a console players standpoint
John Doe Why so passive aggressive sport?
I love how he keeps saying gold bars😂😂😂
Bro who the fuck got time for that shit? This ain’t real life it’s a fucking video game.
who the fuck cares? imagine if in skyrim if you wanted to afford some daedric gear, either you:
1) PAY WITH REAL MONEY
2) do trivial bullshit like "daily challenges" for a month straight, grinding hours a day to afford it.
dont defend it in skyrim and dont defend it in rdo or gtao. seriously, 170 hours? grinding, doing boring bullshit for 170 hours? you know how long that is?
You can use this video to see how much gold you can make from daily challenges alone: th-cam.com/video/Tq6RGzEcDvs/w-d-xo.html
@@SomeoneSomewhere-x6b sorry bro but I shouldnt need to calculate the best optimal ways to make money and spend an hour or two mandatory hours grinding money just to have fun. because one or two hours every day is 22-44 hours. that's a long ass time. over a day straight of grinding.

1 gold per challenge is impossible.
The max is 2,5x (0,5 gold per challenge)

Elaborate
Free menus tend to use internal files but paid menus usually are a more secure program that is almost like running an another program separately that overlaps the game...
